Improve the comparison of Platform requests dwright - Adobe Experience Platform Debugger
I'm trying to see the differences between two Platform requests. The meaty part of the Platform request, which I control as an implementer is the "events" area of the post body. This is where all of my custom name/value pairs I am sending are contained. In the current formatting of the Debugger, it's nearly impossible to compare two requests side by side because this info is displayed in a tiny cell. You would have to click one cell, copy the JSON object then click the other cell and copy the JS...

Re: Integrate Launch with AEM 6.4 dwright - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
If you see the Launch embed codes in the we-retail source code you are almost there! Do you see the correct Launch property details when you open the Experience Cloud Debugger? Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger - Chrome Web Store If not, check the Network tab in your Dev Tools to make sure the Launch js file is loading. If there is a 404 error, it's usually because you haven't published anything to the Environment whose embed code URL you are using.

royteeuwen,The AEM 6.4/Launch integration allows you to both self-host the files or reference them on Adobe's CDN. In addition to the URL Jantzen.Belliston posted, you might also find these videos useful:Integrate Launch by Adobe with AEM Sites If you are using 6.3 with Launch, I suggest using Adobe's CDN and just pasting the embed codes in your global header and footer (if using sync embed codes).

Re: at.js object dwright - Adobe Target
Hi,The em-disabled#true flag is not used with at.js, only mbox.js. Try using the at.js custom event "adobe.target.event.REQUEST_FAILED" to detect the timeout: at.js custom events

Re: Data Layer - Custom conversion tracking dwright - Adobe Target
Yes you could use mboxDefine and mboxUpdate. You might want to use some javascript to create a new element to attach to your mboxDefine.

Re: Data Layer - Custom conversion tracking dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Chris,Not niche at all. Hopefully you are already using the at.js library in which case you could use trackEvent for your order confirmation mbox. You don't need to create an mbox on any div, just fire the javascript on the order event. Yes, you can still capture revenue. Here are some Help links. The first one sounds like exactly what you need:https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov/t_create_orderconfirm-page-mbox-atjs.htmlhttps://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/t...

Re: Need to reference or use path location of a .js file, uploaded to Target Content library dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Tehmina,Code assets in the offer library can only be used with the Form composer. They cannot be accessed via the Visual Experience Composer (VEC). If you want to use this code in the VEC you should paste your code into the custom code section of the experience. If you have thoughts on how we should incorporate the offer library into the VEC in a future release, please submit them via a client care ticket.**updating my response**You can use the offer library with the Visual Experience Compose...

Re: How do I preview Target test variants on a final step of a multi-step process that requires info held in a session cookie? dwright - Adobe Target
Mandrake,Are you having problems building your activity? Or previewing an activity which you have already built? Assuming the problem is building your activity...if you use the non-enhanced mode of the composer it will load your site directly using an iframe. If you first open another browser tab open and navigate to this last step of your purchase process, when you next load the same URL in Target the non-enhanced mode of the VEC will have access to all of the same cookies you set in your other...

Re: Not Getting Target PCID set in mbox cookie? dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Michael,Third party cookies are a little tricky to view in Chrome. They don't usually appear in the dev tools where you are looking. The most reliable way I've found to view them in Chrome is to Settings->Advanced Options->Content Settings->All cookies and site data... and then use the filter to locate the cookies. In your case the third party cookies will be set on the bankofthewest.tt.omtrdc.net domain--the domain where the mbox calls are sent. There are two cookies mboxPC and mboxSession.B...

Re: Not Getting Target PCID set in mbox cookie? dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Michael,If you delete ALL of your cookies you will get a PCId in your 1st party mbox cookie which should be readable using mboxFactoryDefault.getPCId().getId(). This is why you saw the PCId when you were in incognito mode. Incognito mode starts with a clean slate effectively clearing 1st and 3rd party cookies. My guess is when you were experiencing this "Chrome Browser Normal mode on VPN - mbox cookie without PCID but contains session id" you were probably just clearing your 1st party cookies ...

Re: Not Getting Target PCID set in mbox cookie? dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Michael,When you use a 1st and 3rd party cookie implementation the mboxPC value will be set in a third party cookie on the bankofthewest.tt.omtrdc.net domain. Thus, there is no reason to set it in the 1st party cookie.Take a look at the mbox request headers and confirm you see an mboxPC value being sent with the cookies to the bankofthewest.tt.omtrdc.net domain, e.g.cookie:mboxSession=1478099329350-321638; mboxPC=1478099329350-321638.28_65; The best way to confirm that everything is working a...

Re: Trouble with Mutation Observer dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Barath,I am not able to do a code review, but one thing to check is the timing of the code delivery. When delivered to the page through the mbox, the code is probably loading at the top of the page and depending on which library you are using it might be before or after DOMContentLoaded. And in production, it might execute slightly differently from within the VEC. So, i would use additional console.log statements to see if things are actually firing when you think. For example, i see you are ...

Re: Target on lightbox dwright - Adobe Target
Ridder,Just saw your screenshot. I would think the UI-clicktracking you used should work even without a page refresh. You don't see any mbox calls in your browser Network tab when you click the button? Please note that if you are using the Preview Links to review your test experience that metrics don't increment with Preview Links.Daniel

Re: Geo-targeting Not Working and Showing Challenger to Excluded Regions dwright - Adobe Target
Robert,Yes, if you are using the preview links, the mboxOverride.browserIp technique is probably irrelevant as the preview links bypass the Audience-targeting. You would need to activate a real activity to see this. A safe way to activate an activity so that noone else sees it is to include a special parameter in the Audience (e.g. qa=true) and then use it to load the page, (e.g. www.mywebsite.com?qa=true").The person who saw the experience they weren't expecting, did they use a preview link to ...

Re: Target to Drive Several hundred variations of an experience on a single page.... most efficient way? or is there a better way? dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Kevin,Interesting use case. Are you passing the Membership Level as an mbox parameter in the mbox you want to use to change the image? If so, and if the URLs of the images you want to substitute follow a predictable pattern that uses the value you are passing as the mbox parameter, this could be ridiculously easy. You just select the image you want to replace, click Edit Source in the VEC, enter the URL pattern, and use the token-replacement syntax to dynamically insert the value you are pass...

Re: Which JS Library For New Target Standard Launch dwright - Adobe Target
Hi David,The URL you posted (https://www.pbjtest.com/EmailSignUpPopUp/dialogContent.cfm?siteCode=PBJ) does not appear to have at.js or any mboxes on it. It's the second half of the error message--"does not contain Target libraries"--that is relevant here, not that there is a timeout in the VEC. You mention iframes. Is this URL iframed by a page with Target code? If so, that is not going to help you, as iframes are by design sandboxed from eachother. If you are trying to test content on the URL (...

Re: Backbone component functionalities are not working fine in Preview Mode, when target is enabled dwright - Adobe Target
Hi Shikha,It sounds like you have a Single Page Application, hence the use of Backbone. Single Page Applications are much more complex--mostly because of the flicker-handling needed as per Parit's reply. We developed an new library with SPAs in mind called at.js and this is what we recommend for SPA implementations (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov2/c_target-atjs-implementation.html). Please note that the TNT.createGlobalMbox() function is not part of at.js and mbox cal...

Re: Which JS Library For New Target Standard Launch dwright - Adobe Target
Hi David,Glad you were able to resolve the problems you were having with the Experience Composer in your environment. at.js v0.9.1 seems very stable and I haven't heard of any issues with it (I work closely with the engineers developing it). IMO, it is much better than mbox.js. We are working on ways to simplify usage of mboxTrace, mostly to make it easier to get the token and understand what it is showing.Daniel

Re: Creating Test on pages with React js dwright - Adobe Target
Yes, that is not a supported way to load DTM and will not let you add Target correctly. You need to use the embed code provided by the DTM interface which will load the library synchronously and thus allow you to load Target synchronously. This is necessary to manage flicker appropriately.

Re: Creating Test on pages with React js dwright - Adobe Target
Is there a URL we can look at? It sounds like something in the chain of operations loading asynchonously which shouldn't be. Are you loading the main DTM library correctly using the exact code copied from the UI? Or is someone trying to load DTM asynchronously?
