Hello All
We have a business problem. Before the problem let me set the context.
We use on-prem AEM 6.5 and also AEM Assets as a DAM. Over last 3 years, business and product groups have been using DAM without following much best practice around Metadata. Also, as product portfolio like models names, technical specs keeps on changing, new metadata fields become more important to be included.
Also, we have not used Alt+Text field which is causing issues in SEO and ADA compliance.
Is there a standard method using ACS tools for Asset Retagging? I understand for folder level metadata schema, only the new assets inherit the schema and not legacy assets.
These assets are live on production site. We want to have a nifty solution with automation and hardly any manual effort.

@Prithwiraj_Deb This should be a one time activity. You can utilize AEM DAM MCP Tools for unique tag creation and later applying them to assets [1] using bulk metadata import feature [2]. Both needs work in Excel and file can be imported in DAM for re-tagging.

Just set the Binary to "NO" so this process just updates the metadata.
