Moving Assets to AEM DAM (using Sensei?)

Avatar

Level 1

Looking to move a large amount of assets (about 30K worth of pictures) from another source (Media Beacon) into the AEM DAM. Curious to understand how others are doing this? Has any used Sensei in this process? Or were the folders set up manually for example. Just curious for feedback and governance ideas....

Thanks,

Mark

Sensi is not used to move DAM images. See this ATCE for more information about Sensi:

Lets see how other community members move that many assets. I will also ask the ENG Team to look here.

You can consider AEM ACS commons tools - Assets Migration Guide

Another new tool which has been added to ACS commons based on MCP framework-

https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/mcp-tools/asset-ingestion/index...

If the volume of assets is large then you can disable DAM update asset workflows before the ingestion process and then you can run the workflows later using ACS Bulk Workflow Manager utility.
