Alt Text AEM 6.1

Hi,

I have some questions about using alt text in AEM. Hope they are not too abstract.

1. How do I find all my alt text in AEM, like some sort of metadata file I guess?

2. How do AEM process alt-text? After I fill the alt-text field, screen reader just speak it out word to word?

or there is a mechanism with which AEM tries to understand my alt-text/or the image?
