CRM and csv data import in Adobe Audience Manager

We need to import CRM Data and some csv files into Adobe Audiences Manager. Can anyone tell us how we can achieve this.

if i upload a  third party file with trait ids that are not in audience manager will audience manager create those traits for me ?
