tracking external link CTA "mail to" on ACS

Hi everybody,
we sent an email on ACS, in which the CTA is a call to action for contact, so the button has a mailto: email address.

However, ACS is not tracking the number of clicks we get on that button. This has already happened when our CTA was a phone number. 
Is there a way to force ACS to track this click? or should we do an additional setup to track this?

Hi Fern,

 

While the forum post below is for Campaign Classic, it does apply here. The short version is that we can't track mailto links since they don't actually open a web browser. There may be workarounds as suggested in the post, but the accuracy of such is questionable.
