Content Blocks vs Fragments

Can someone tell me what the difference is?

Fragments: A fragment is a reusable component that can be referenced in one or more emails.

Content Blocks: Content blocks are dynamic, personalized and have a specific rendering. For example, you can add a greeting or a link to the mirror page.

Don't they sound the same? under what use cases you would use them?

Hi,

Fragments are more static (think a single image) that does not take personalization or other conditions into account.

Content blocks, as mentioned, are personalized and dynamic, and an example would be configuring a content block to take into account the first and last name of the recipient and tailor the response accordingly.

@o_X Fragments don't support dynamic content.

Can you then have dynamic content blocks within fragments?
