Page URL report

One of the report suites I work with is not showing full page URLS - I have other report suites that this menu option and data shows up for. I checked the warehouse and tried pulling with the Excel plug in. What would cause this to happen and how can I get to this data?

Hi John,

Page URL is not a standard report, but it can be implemented via these ways: https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/obtaining-url-reports.html

It sounds like the report suite in question has Page URL tracking implemented custom and differs from your other report suite. I would verify the implementation method on that report suite for the Page URL custom variable. However you can pull stock 'Page URL' from the Data Warehouse tool as another option.

Thanks for the quick response. I looked and compared quickly the two implementation - they seem to be the same. I will have to do more validation.

On the missing reporting, Page URL is an option in the warehouse, but does not show any parameters; stuff that comes after the "=" sign. I am guessing that if the stings are not there in the url (original entry page)they will not be found at all.  Can you confirm?

Page URL dimension from DW (stock report) I believe does not include parameters. It cannot be configured and would be the same for all clients in DW stock.
