Hi guys,
@Jennifer_Dungan I know you've mentioned this before, but do we actually know why ActivityMap is not capturing Button clicks? The filter callback is called, but it does not trigger any call.
Seems like a bug to me. I can likely create my own activitymap context data, but would prefer to have it fixed.
Cheers

Hi @bjoern__koth - Knowing that Jen is extra busy at the moment. Stepping in and hoping that this at least partially helps. I'm not as knowledgable about Activity Map, but I went and found some of her past posts about it. I know she knows a LOT about Activity Map.
Hope this puts you on the right path!

Adobe changed something recently... even the custom code to pick up buttons with Activity Map is no longer working for me... which makes me sad, cause my solution has worked for over a decade, and now I am missing all those buttons being tracked.....
@Jennifer_Dungan , @jeff_bloomer but has anyone reached out to support about is? Of course you can argue that it is called automatic link tracking, but for an activity map overlay, one is definitely also interested in the other main DOM interaction element type 🤦
as mentioned, the callback seems to execute, and I can see my linkName, pageName, etc logged in the console.
it just doesnt trigger any call

I haven't reached out to support... I figured since my code was kind of a modification to get buttons to work I wasn't going to get very far.... I felt I might have better luck talking to the product team directly, but I think they have been busy.. they didn't answer my post in the champions slack....
that's too bad. guess they're busy, but this is really a pain, especiall for someone like you who's been using it for many years.
