In the asset metadata, I have a custom tab with a custom field called "Modified By." I have a schema named "myproject," where I added this custom tab, labeled "File Information," and created a field called "Modified By." This field is mapped to a custom property, "xmp:modified-by". The "Modified By" field is non-editable, as its value is set from the backend whenever anyone updates any field in the asset's metadata (e.g., the title).When a metadata field is updated, a custom workflow called "Update Metadata" is triggered by a launcher. Within this workflow, there is a process step called "Update CQ Name," where we update/add the custom property "xmp:modified-by" into asset's metadata node.We fetch the value of the jcr:lastModifiedBy property from the asset's jcr:content node and save it in the asset's metadata node under the property xmp:modified-by.However, the xmp:modified-by property is getting updated with an older value of jcr:lastModifiedBy. Hi allI am facing issue in  QA environment whereopens are not getting updated for a delivery while chekcing in Tracking tab of deliveryi have executed Technical workflowtracking wkf couple of times but opens are not getting updated at all is there any workaround or manually or via wkf i can update tracking logs for that delivery my delivery has only 3 recipeints--so I am looking fir a way to uodate opens fir those recipients fir tbose delivery

The link texts in newsletters’ callback actions are often not relevant (Learn more, Discover, Click here, Buy...).Unfortunately, the link component doesn't allow users to add an aria-label attribute to make them accessible to users with disabilities.Is there a way to create a custom link component?By default, the editor should allow adding aria attributes to avoid accessibility issues. How can we report this need to the Adobe team for it to be addressed?

I created a segment of users who had credit application clicks using a visitor container.  I used the month of April as the panel date range.  And there're about 4 million users (unique visitor). When I added a day dimension there're about 160K unique visitor each day.  What does the 160K mean?   Active unique visitor in each day who had made credit application in the month of April?    Because if I switch the segment container to visit level, the total is still 4 million users (unique visitor), but the daily visitor is much lower about 80K.If I want to build a dashboard for the IT team to improve the engagement of credit applications, which segment container is better?  I feel like the visit level contain provides better information on the day level.  Is that right? 

Hey all,I had a question about AEM/CRXDE. Let's say that I want to change the name of a template from design-b to design c. For organizational purposes I would also change the path of this template.So the template would move from /apps/myproject/templates/design-b to /apps/myproject/template/design-c.My question is about a bunch of existing sites that currently use this template. I have a ton of pages that have their cq:template set to this /apps/myproject/templates/design-b template, and moving the template to the new path breaks them.Is there a way to mass find + replace everything in the /content/ folder using crxde/something else? It would be an absolute nightmare to go through each single page and have to replace this myself in crxde (over 100 pages).If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to try them!ThanksBrendan

Hi team, we are on AEMCS ENV, we were trying to write test case for a search servlet. when we execute the search servlet doget method from servlet its executing successfully but in SearchserviceImpl.java Class the @Mock private ResourceResolverFactory resourceResolverFactory getting null. I’m in the process of implementing CNAME for my organization. We have two websites—one is still using the old ontrdc.net server, and the other is set up with a new CNAME server, smetrics.example.com.After implementing CNAME, do I need to replace the server on both websites, or can the old server continue to work on Website A while the new CNAME server is implemented on Website B? Hi, I am wondering if the volume of visits is based on the cookie s_vi ? if so does it mean that if I have 2 different s_vi cookie (domain are different and so the values) would it count as 2 visits ?  Thanks a lot in advance to anyone that could help to understand which element is required to count the visits. Sophie

Hi everyone,   I've recently synced Marketo with Salesforce and now I'd like to send all the contacts I have in my Marketo database to Salesforce, I've tried to find informations on the Internet but it seems that most topics talk about importing contact FROM Salesforce TO Marketo and not the other way. If anybody could give me some tips about it, it would help me a lot.   EDIT: I found how to send those contacts to SF but I have another problem : As i'm working with politician, they don't have a proper "Company" as Marketo and Salesforce understand it and when I tried syncing everything I got an error message telling me the "Company" field was missing. As they are related to a region, I was thinking about putting their region as their company but I do think its a good practice, any idea about it ?   Thanks

Hello, I'm having a hard time understanding the JIRA API Module for Custom API Calls. When configuring the "connection" for this Module, one of the things it asks you is the "Service URL"  and I'm really confused what this URL is since it calls it "Instance URL" ???? Is the instance and service URL the same thing?  It's described as the jira instance URL ... what is that?  Is it your - https // < jira server instance>.atlassian.net /  ... addressIs it your - https // <some other path that I don't know > / ... address found within JIRA Admin ConsoleIs it your - https // <jira server instane.atlassian.net / rest / api / <version #>  ... addressor is it just something else .. I've checked the documentation for this via the "?" on the module but that leaves a bit to be desired for someone configuring it for the first time. To me it seems you need some extended accesses to be able to manage Tags created in AJO by ordinary users. We see the need for change some names and deleting test Tags, but we cant do this else on out own created Tags. What kind of access do we need to do this on a "global" level, regardless of who created the Tag. The question is basically - what AJO access right can do this changes to Tags? 

Hi Everyone,We noticed in our AEM environment that the number of archive workflows are over 2 million and then we have configured Adobe Granite Workflow Purge Configuration to purge Completed/Aborted/Failed workflows of a certain model but it does not seem to purge, we notice that there is a query traversal for the configured workflow model which is affecting the author environment performance.We missed to configure purge scheduler earlier and by the time we noticed there are 2 million archived workflow instances.Can anyone help us how we can clean up or purge this huge number of workflow instances now?

The Email Designer has accessibility issues with images. If users don't enter alternative text for the images, it doesn't add an empty alt attribute. If we manually add an empty alt attribute (alt="") via HTML code, the editor removes it. This creates serious accessibility problems: without an alt attribute, screen readers vocalize the image URL. Is there a way to work around this bug? How can we report the bug to the Adobe team for it to be fixed?

I'm not sure if AEM can return HTML directly, like you could with Springboot and Thymeleaf, but I'd like to try using the HTMX return HTML philosophy with the AEM components to see if it speeds up the performance of certain components. It would be great to have a search result component that runs on the server side and sends the HTML result rather than the JSON result, utilizing the server side on the client side as well. This would eliminate the need for two separate locations to maintain templating—on the frontend using js and on the htl of the sling model.

Hi All, I'm attempting to load/'create' a pdf file into the Assets side of the AEM. It loads to about 97%, then says "0 of 1 assets uploaded". The only option provided is "Cancel". I have loaded pdfs successfully many times, and into this folder as recently as an hour ago. I even deleted the previous version of the pdf rather than "Replace" it, thinking that might be an issue. I was required to "Force Delete" because of some message that I didn't read thoroughly, now I'm thinking that message was the key as to why this pdf won't upload. Any suggestions?
