People who utilize Adobe Experience Manager in a creative aspect:IS there a way to be absolutely precise while using smart crop in AEM? You can't input coordinates, but you can inspect the item in question via Chrome inspector and see exactly how big the box is, where it's at, etc. however you can't really apply information to affect the ACTUAL crop box/cropping area. Trying to do smart crops of vehicles that have both the Android and an Apple screen on the dashboard in the same aspect ratios. The images are supposed to be an exact copy of one another, just with different screen interfaces in the vehicle. There has to be a way. I cannot have been the first person to ask this. I've looked on Adobe forums, experienceleague. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've got some emails I send regularly that take a lot of time to set up. Simply put, each email is a list of 10 Headline/paragraph combos and each week, I have to copy and paste this text from a new spreadsheet into the headlines and paragraphs. What I would like to do is automate this process using tokens or something similar.Ideally, I'd like to take a CSV which contains the headlines and paragraphs, upload that to Marketo, and then have it autofill an email template that has a token for each headline and paragraph. I've been looking at the documentation on tokens and I can't find anything like what I'm describing. Does anybody know of a way to do something like what I'm describing here?

Just want to give other's visibility and a heads up on this issue.    We have a program that sets some program member custom fields (PMCF) which sync to campaign member custom fields. Generally, the sync is working fine. However, we are seeing an issue in this case: If the initial sync of a person fails (say there is a bad picklist value in a standard field) and then the issue gets fixed, when the person does finally sync to the SFDC campaign and becomes a member, the PMCF field values do not sync to the campaign member custom fields. The only way to get the PMCF fields to finally sync is if the value in the PCMF field changes.    @darshil_shah1 Was able to confirm this behavior. Hi, Im started working with Editable templates and we already have our modules using Boostrap, couple of months ago I saw in one of the questions that there was a project that already customized the aem grid to follow the same styles as Boostrap but I was not able to find the link anymore, could someone have that project link to use it?

While viewing a report (list of projects, tasks, etc.) you are able to turn on / off the Gantt chart with the toggle button at the top right of the report.      While the gantt chart is on, the report is condensed. The text fields do not wrap and the row height is fixed.  Is there a way to have keep this condensed view without having the gantt chart displayed?  The condensed view is easier to quickly scroll/scan through a large list of projects. I know we can shrink the size of the gantt chart by pushing it further to the right side of the screen. However, ideally, we only want to view these lists without the gantt chart

I'm planning to implement the Target pre-hiding snippet in the <head> of our production site using AEP Web SDK.However, at this stage, I'm considering placing the pre-hiding snippet without including the Target script or the Launch script.Is it advisable to place the Target pre-hiding snippet alone without the accompanying Target and Launch scripts? Hi there,I intend on introducing a new A-B activity using 'Auto-target for personalised experiences' as the traffic allocation method.  We want to use the same audience across this Target campaign and have 4/5 experiences within it.  Each experience will be the same, aside from the hero banner image.  In short, this will be an image test using the auto-target function.  Our 'Optimisation Goal' will be click-through i.e., clicks to the CTA(s) within the hero banner. My question is, how should I be tracking these clicks to a Hero banner CTA in each experience within this type of Target campaign i.e., should I be injecting any custom code, or should I be relying on the 'Clicked an element' dropdown in 'My Primary Goal' selection? Is it possible with the new filter system (not the legacy one) to create a filter which can be locked, so no changes can be made by specific user groups (e.g. disabling the filter or changing the criteria)The goal is to create a view for specific user groups, which restricts them from seeing entries where they are not assigned to. Example:The set filter - made by an admin - is only showing1. Tasks which contain the word "PROD" (e.g. PRODUCTION of Asset A, PRODUCTION of Asset B, ...)2. Tasks which are assigned to user group "Agency" In words:A specific user group (e.g. "Agency") can only see Tasks in a project where they have been assigned to.They cannot edit the filter criteria or deactivate the filter.A Task which has been assigned to "Agency" would appear in the list, A task assigned to "Project Manager" would not appear in the list.  In other platforms this is called "conditional permissions". We are working on a multi-tenant solution in Aem as cloud service and need to provide Cloud Manager permissions for deployment, development, and integration-cloud services. However, we also need to restrict these users from accessing specific paths, such as /content/xyz and /apps/xyz. Can we achieve this in AEM as a Cloud Service?

Since 8/14 we've been having build issues even though there were no code changes on our side. When aem sdk 2024.8 was released now all older versions of the aem sdk no longer work. Whenever we run on any older aem sdk versions (including the version that production is currently running - 2024.7), we get the following error:[ERROR] The analyser found the following errors for author and publish : [ERROR] [api-regions-exportsimports] com.graco.aem.library:graco-aem-library-api:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT: Bundle graco-aem-library-api:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT is importing package(s) Package com.day.cq.wcm.api;version=[1.30,1.31) in start level 20 but no visible bundle is exporting these for that start level in the required version range.
