Hello!I've extended delivery schema with fields "utm_campaign" and "utmSource" and when I try to use them, for example populate in delivery text (for testing) they are not visible in email client but they are visible in webview. What is interesting is that this is not happening when use out of the box fields of delivery, for example "title" displays everywhere properly...So from the code below only delivery title is displayed in both email client and webview. The other two works only in webview. Hi All, I'm want to use an api for encoding in my component's jsp and in my servlet which consist some backend logic. i have added dependency in my core,ui,parent's pom file. i'm able to import the class in the servlet and other java classes. but importing same class in component jsp is giving error only a type can be imported. i have tried giving package name in exported-packages and made other possible changes. any help? 

Hi, In order to view edit the contents for multiple  tab  to add components under parsys of multiple tabs that requires that section of the page to be clicked, the author must:switch to preview modeclick on the tab or accordion where the content is to be authored to view the parsysswitch to edit modeThis can be very time consuming especially since the page refreshes and defaults to the first tab or closes the accordion after authoring some components.Observations:-Whenever the author needs to edit the page , edit mode is selected and authoring activities are performed.During this edit mode , the click functionalities / user interactions on the actual links will be blocked by an overlay in touch UI enabling only authoring activities in components. Here the issue mentioned is - when multiple tabs are present the author is having no choice but to go to preview mode in order to navigate to tab2 then again needed to move to edit mode to do authoring tasks,which is the on

I'm upgrading our code from 4.x to the Adobe Experience Platform.  We're using iOS and Swift.We used to use the json file method for configuration.Based on the recommendation in the documentation we're now using the following configuration function:ACPCore.configure(withAppId: "??????")But what is the correct process for supporting offline analytics (E.g. if the json file above configuration method fails because the user is offline)do we call both in the following order?ACPCore.configure(withAppId: "??????")ACPCore.configureWithFile(inPath: filePath)The wording in the documentation mentions "replace or complement" with regards to a bundled json file"You can include a bundled JSON configuration file in your app package to replace or complement the configuration that was downloaded by using the Configure with Launch App ID approach."Just wondering if anyone has any clarification on how to handle this.Cheers

Hi All, I'm working on aem 6.3 to 6.5 in place upgrade activity. As part of this, I'm fixing the issues raised by pattern detector. I have found the below issue:  The overlay was done for customization but now the overlay is not allowed for it as mixinType is Internal (granite:InternalArea) - Defines a node as internal. Nodes classified as internal cannot be overlaid, inherited, or used directly. These nodes are meant only for internal functionality of AEM We require the customization, so is there any way to resolve it. Thanks   

Dear Team,Step1:I have below content tree structure: Step2:and user "sample" is created with below permission: Step3:Now , When I access sites.html, I only see my "Product" site/page. Which is correct. Step4:Problem Statement: Now admin creates a new Page/Site e.g. New Product Step5:When I again login with "sample" user , I can see this "New Product " Page .   Question:Is there any way to restrict this so that "sample" user  can only see Product websites , not any other created by Admin in future. Thank you in advance.     

Hello the community,   I have a trouble regarding the marketing channel analysis. All lot of my trafic is in referral even if this is in 7th postion. The 1st one is paid search (and it's seems to be ok vs GA) but the second one is Natural search and I've just few visits vs GA. This this our configuration :       When I look at workspace I have this report : - marketing channel = referral / - channel detail = google.com - search engine = unspecified   First question : How can I correct it to put in SEO and not in referral ?   Second one : 90% of my orders are assigned to refferal (with a lt of bank site and despite the internal url parameters). what can I do ?   Best regards for your help

I've created a custom workflow activity that calls an API to get exclusions of recipients.I delete the relevant records from the temporary activity schema (vars.tableName / vars.targetSchema) but the output transition still shows the previous count that was input to my custom activity. If I check the data the count is different than shown in the workflow canvas. I've tried xtk.session.write and sql to delete from the target schema. Both work to delete but none update the count.How can I delete from the temporary schema for the activity and have a correct count on the output transition?

Hi - In my organization, we are planning to set up AEM6.5. AEM 6.5 is already installed on servers A and B and application is running on both the VM's. Currently live traffic is not yet established. I need to know how to set up author in a Master-slave mode. 1) In general only A author will be running all time and in case of any author corruption, we need the standby "B author" to be able to handle live request immediately without any manual intervention.2) Also need to know how to set up A and B in sync mode..i.e..imagine i do a change in A server and same change should get auto reflected in B servers as well.. I have tried reviewing many articles over forum but nothing really answered it, please clarify!!!

I am trying to calculate New Visitors for the whole website as well as a particular page, I was thinking of using the below logic:Visit_num = 1 (New Visitor)Visit_num > 1 (Repear Visitor)But this will give me new vs. repeat for the whole website; is there a way to calculate the same for a particular page on the website, I was thinking of using Visit_page_num; but not sure if that logic would work. Would appreciate any guidance around calculating New vs. Repeat directly from data warehouse in Adobe. @gigazelle @mihnead @andrew_wathen_ @urs_boller @michaelwon @jarnorossilux2 @sessoms25  

Hello ALL,We are using Adobe DTM for adding tags based on onload or onclick events. Now we want to determine how adding tags will effect page's performance? For a specific page, say on "contact us" page of a website, adding 3 tags will give same load time compared to adding 50 tags (adding tags on load event)?Please give me some idea on this.Thanks,Manoj

While working on AEM Content Fragments we noticed that there is a new jcr property which is "fragmentlastsave" and trying to figure out the purpose of this property. The value getting stored is same as value stored as part of jcr:lastModifed date. Any can provide the justification for this? 

When we create a new Adobe Launch configuration in AEM, we provide the values of fields like "Associated IMS Configuration", "Company", "Property" etc, and then on the next window, the staging & production fields get populated automatically. I was just wondering in this case, what is the use case of the "development" environment(s) in Adobe Launch. Are they just for developing the properties, but do not serve as an integration point in AEM? And if not, could someone guide me resources on how to go about to point to development environment?I have currently have setup following the instructions at Integrate AEM with Adobe Launch Via Adobe I/O . So in the author environments, it points to "staging", and on publish dispatcher it points to "production". Since we have four different AEM environments (dev/test/train/prod), the team was wondering if we could have the lower environments point to "development environment" of Adobe Launch.

Whenever I tried to build the library with latest update version then "Development Building" message is visible for long time (in progress).And if i try to build the library with older version then it is asking me to apply update and continue.Please let me know teh solution.

Hi, My doubt is regarding to extensions. I have installed Adobe Analytics extension in one of my mobile property, but while building the rules i'm not able to see Adobe Analytics extension whereas Desktop property has the same.Regards,Vijay

We configured the Analytics Extension to automatically track exit and download links for certain domains and extensions respectively. There is also a doPlugins which adds some events and eVars to these with something like this:if (s.linkType === 'd') {    // set some eVars and events} else if (s.linkType === 'e') {    // set some other eVars and events}This works fine, but as this isn't a rule where I have full control over the actions, events and evars set here, are repeated with the next rule that is fired. We created all the rules with the Clear Variable action at the end, but now it seems, we should have put it first, before setting the new variables. Is this the only way to make sure these eVars and events are cleared before the next rule fires? Or is there a way to tell the Analytics Extension to clear variables also for these two automatic link trackings?

Understand the Launch API is at alpha stage only but wish to have some early try on it but hitting into an early problem.Going through API documentation and it seems that the "List Companies" and "Get a Company" should be the first thing to do after getting the adobe.io authorization code. Unfortunately, the "List Companies" returned an empty array in the "data" node and I can proceed no further.I had tried the "Get a Profile" call and able to retrieve my profile with some potential issues:there is no "display_name"email address is the @techacct.adobe.com account instead of my Adobe ID accountunder organizations and the EC Org, "admin" is false but I am the EC Org adminI had all those name, email, and admin right properly configured in the EC Admin Console. Is there anything missing or mis-configured?

Hi all,It seems like the behavior of Launch is still the same as in DTM when it comes to direct call rules & global variables. Global variables are not registered in a direct call rule. For me this is a leftover from DTM times where there was a difference in Event Based, Page Load and Direct Call Rules. With the new "Core" Module concept in my opinion there should be the same behavior in all drop down options. The differentiating factor should be if I call s.t() or s.tl() when I send the beacon. Can anyone explain to me the concept behind this?Thanks.Konstantin
