Hello guys, I need to store a date without the time component and I am thinking to use the Data prep to do this. Any suggestion on how to remove time component from the date? Thanks

Hi,   We are configuring AEM SAML Authentication with Azure AD according to the guide at:   https://blog.developer.adobe.com/saml-authentication-in-aem-using-microsoft-azure-active-directory-30d668338a8f   This is working successfully in our Test environment, which is setup with a single Author, Publisher, and Dispatcher.  In this environment we are able to log in and it is working end to end.   In the Stage environment we are having trouble getting it working.  The Stage environment is set up with a single Author, two Publishers, two Dispatchers (one for each publisher), an AWS load balancer, and Cloudfront CDN.   In the Stage environment, we are getting an error with the Sling Authentication interfering and popping up a login prompt when trying to load a page that requires authentication.  The expected result here is that it should redirect to the Microsoft SSO login page, allow the user to log in, and then redirect back to the saml_login page.

Hi, I've uploaded lots of images, pdfs etc. in the past through the 'design studio' tab, and marketo has created a link for that file which I can then embed in marketo emails. These links have always opened the file on an internet tab without a problem, but now it seems the links don't work. Instead of taking me directly to the file, they open up a general google page. When I copy paste the links into the search bar, it brings up a blank page instead of the file, like it used to. This is happening to all newly uploaded files as well as past files that used to work. Any suggestions?

Hi all,   I have a scenario that copies a value from a Job Number field to the project name as a prefix. Occasionally someone will create and then immediately delete a project which causes several of my scenarios to throw an error.   Your scenario PROJ-Add Job Number to Project Name v2.0 | Production has encountered an error. [404] null with primary key value(s) "631f7d7d000ec1d6d1b3b946b711ad83" not found I can go to the scenario and see the error: Now I need to delete that entry from the queue so it won't try to run again. When I open the queue, I'm presented with sometimes hundreds of entries The only way I know to try and find the object GUID from the error is to select "Detail" from each of hundreds of entries until I find the right one to delete. Only then can I turn my scenario back on. Is this the only way to do this? It seems like someone has most likely thought about this before. This takes hours for each error I get and if I can't get to the error quickly it

Hello guys,   Wrongly we created custom identity namespace and currently this has been used in CJA and RT-CDP. I would like to ask what happen if we delete it and create a new one. Does it have some impact with CJA and RT-CDP? Any suggestion?  Thanks

There is one hide-in navigation checkbox present in the page properties dialog. I want it to be visible while creating the page and always remain checked. But when I go to the core component basic tab there is no option to overlay how can I achieve that.    While creating the page that option is not visible I want to make it visible and checked     After creating the page that option is visible There is no option tags, hide in nav and others

I use the below command to checkout apps folder components and it works   vlt --credentials admin:admin co http://localhost:4502/crx/-/jcr:root/apps/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/timeline admintimeline   But, if I use the below to check out oaK:index folder, it says folder don't exist. Do we need to escape any characters for this to work.   vlt --credentials admin:admin co http://localhost:4502/crx/-/jcr:root/oak:index index   Appreciate if someone can comment?    

Our team is currently looking into building a proof of concept experience fragment that we can test in different subsites to see how it will render. I've been looking for information on how to add an existing page template as an experience fragment or how to create a new one, but what I've tried so far hasn't added the template.Is there any documentation or otherwise about how to do this?

Hi Team,   we have requirement like content authoring in aem, we need to update the particular component  like authoring work on daily basis. It's a kind of plain text, its text component were we need to edit the existing content and update the new content frequently. We are getting more 50 + plus request for edit and update the component in AEM . How can we automate from the  tool to  read the description and update the content in  aem, and more over we have limited access.    Thanks in advance.  

Me again! I have a project report with a task collection column; however, I need to add an if statement so that I'm only showing tasks with a specific template task ID. Hi , 1) Can we do orchestration inside AJO for a profile based on what offer they are qualified in decision management for a particular channel and context  May be by creating a "Data source" for decision service API  2) Can we do orchestration based on offers they have received and responded. Example - If a profile received offer XYZ on website homepage in last 30 days then in journey we put the profile to "Wait" for 30 days.   Thanks.

Hello team, We have site structure in AEM like "/content/project-site/eu/en" where as EU is europe region and EN -english site. Similarly corresponding XF structure -  Experience Fragment structure "/content/experience-fragments/project-site/eu/en/site"   and for German site "/content/project-site/eu/de" and XF - "/content/experience-fragments/project-site/eu/de/site". We are using AEM SPA with reactJs to render the pages.    Issue is model.json always have XF localizedFragmentVariants - "/content/experience-fragments/project-site/eu/en/site" for EU/DE site.   Expected localized fragment variants path for site "/content/project-site/eu/de" must be "/content/experience-fragments/project-site/eu/de/site".   Please let me know how we can achieve this retrieving language specific XF for EU/DE site. We have achieved this for multipage sites but not finding way to customize for SPA pages where data exported via model.json.   Quick respon

Hi All,      I am using AEM 6.5 and service pack 6.5.11. I have created a content fragment model with 5 text fields. Then I have created content fragments using that model. My assets folder has the following structure:     /content/dam/<projectfolder>/language-masters/en     The content fragments are created under en/content-fragments folder. I have taken this en as the source folder and I tried to create the language copies as follows :           /content/dam/<projectfolder>/language-masters/fr     /content/dam/<projectfolder>/language-masters/zh The language copies are getting created but the content fragments which are created using Fragment Models are not getting translated. Is it the default behavior or am I missing any configuration?

Hi All           I am trying to understand something. I am writing a servlet for a page resourceType something like below. Now as you can see, my extension is "txt". But when I call the page from my browser , if we follow the sling principles , my servlet has to be invoked when I call the page path with .txt , but it gets invoked only if I call it will .html .    For e.g ,     1. I created a sample project with latest archetype.  2. In that the we have an OOTB sample servlet like below     3. Now run and deploy this servlet and try to invoke this servlet. If you hit the page with http://localhost:4502/content/demo-training/us/en/test-page.txt (as per the servlet , the page component invoked using .txt extension ) ; then it will give you an error page something like below .      When you check the request call , you can see that extension is "txt" but it is not invoking y

Hi, I want to know which properties should I be using to get the value from the resourceType : fileUpload   for e.g for textFields I am able to get values in my Sling model class by using annotation :                                 @ValueMapValue                                    private String {"name field of my node"}   I am not able to fetch by using "name " field of type fileUpload   Please anyone explain me how can I access it in my sling model , I need the  path of the file uploaded   Thank you

Anyone has implemented custom recommendation based on tags or clicks of any component. Like If there article pages , what to show some recommended article based on the user clicks or interest.   We have adobe target but not looking for target as source, wanted to build in-house recommendations .   Any suggestions, much appreciated.    Thanks, Tulasi.
