We have a newsletter that goes out to different segments. Can we create a report that shows the links clicked in the newsletter by segments? Also see open rates, soft bounces by segments?
Support just confirmed to me that Marketo does not support conditional tags in templates. You can add them into emails through the designer and they work fine, so it's odd that you can't just have them in the template and not have to copy and paste every time.Given how Outlook renders HTML, conditional tags are very useful to ensure that emails look great across all email clients.
A flow step that sends the next cast of an engagement program for a specific lead. Useful if you're linking programs that have smart lists, so a lead doesn't have to wait until the next cast. I'm trying to expand the Engagement Program functionality of the "lead won't be sent the same email twice," but instead making it "lead won't be suggested a piece of content she/he has already downloaded." Background: We don't want to send a nurture email about a piece of content if the lead has already downloaded that piece. Given resource download is our primary method of lead capture, a lead has already downloaded AT LEAST one piece of content manually from our site. We would also like to have multiple different emails promoting the same piece of content (use case: different chapters of the same big book of B2B marketing). How I was hoping to do this: Smart lists to record the leads who have already downloaded each piece of content. Separate program for each lead n
Before the most recent release, proofs would use the advanced assignments from the default of PHQ. Now it will only use the default under WF, settings, review and approve, and you can only pick one default role for everyone added to a proof. I would like to see these advance assignments be chosen by the user and not one overall default. Our designers have to flip each person from Reviewer/Approver to just Reviewer if that was their previous designation in PHQ. (most of our VIP's are reviewers only so they don't hold up a time line) The VIP's are on the proof so they know what is happening and can add their 2 cents in if they want.-- I hear you saying just make them a report for that, but they are more "see picture, do picture" kind of people.
Is it possible to be given advance warning that the name of a country will be changing in front end reporting? This would help analysts, and data engineers prepare for data coming in under a new country name (which breaks any looks ups).
Migrated from Alpha--UX Flow of this page needs a little tweeking so the user knows where they are at all times and what they’ve completed. Leave rule components where they are when creating conditions (events, actions, etc) so the user knows where they are at all times. Just expand and close the window.
I'd like the ability to use a template to generate projects with dynamic durations based on urgency. The way it would work:Create Project from TemplateSet Complete Date (deadline)Set Start DateTask Durations are proportionately reduced based on the available days between the start and end datesThis would allow us to maintain a single template for all projects of a certain type that we can compress when we have an urgent version of that project.
It would be great if we could make the input field for the Evar/Prop string wider so you could see more characters. This would save time as it would reduce the number of times a user would have to spend moving the cursor further to the right and help make it easier to spot typos that are off screen when a user opens up the Set Variables component of a particular rule.
It seems like when you simply sort a column alphabetically in a report or view, you should see A displayed values before B values, etc. However, I’ve been told many items are actually sorted by the database value not the displayed value. For example, "Job Role" is sorted by the underlying value of "ROLE". Evidently this is consistent with other sorting, such as Status columns (which sort on the value and not the display name). When I sort, I expect the sort to be based on what I’m seeing not what is hidden.
I think it would be very handy to be able to "freeze" the top line in a project similar to how you freeze a row in Excel, so you can always understand to what the data in the column pertains at a glance, without having to scroll up/down to see what that date represents (as an example).
These two core rule types do not function differently. Also, these rules do not work without turning on the regex even when i'm not using any regex to match the url.
Chrome, and other browsers I assume, will populate their history log based on the document title Filling out time sheets becomes much easier when I can identify which projects I was working on throughout the day. I've used to plugin to make this happen locally and it has been very helpful.
Currently, you can build/advance a library from the publishing tab as there is a dropdown menu with three horizontal dots that allows you to do this without opening up that specific library. However, you still need to open the library up in order to remove or add an environment when the library is in the development column. It would be nice if you could remove and add environments from development libraries in a similar way without having to individually open each library to remove or add environments. This change would save me a lot of time as I am have to open multiple libraries to remove and add the dev environment every day.
It would be extremely helpful to view all the Open requests under Requests -> All Requests in 1 page. Currently, users can see only 20 by default under All Requests and they have to scroll to the bottom and click on "20 more" to see additional requests.
It would be great to have a campaign change history and run history tool as Marketo support has as one of their backend tools. We had a campaign member sync issue recently between SFDC and Marketo. Having this tool would've made the troubleshooting of this issue on our end much easier, without having to contact support for assistance.
I've had a lot of problems with dragging and dropping parent tasks to rearrange the order of a project, it seems finicky that it always tries to put the parent inside of another parent task no matter where you put your mouse. Every time I move parents I have to be super careful not to implant the entire parent and all tasks within a nearby parent and I have to drop it so quickly it's inaccurate and leads to frequent errors. It would be nice to be able to turn off the feature that allows you to implant parents into another parent.
The current option really is to only allow line managers to approve time sheets, however line managers do not equal project managers and therefore line managers do not fully understand the hours booked to a project (they just want the time sheet to be submitted!).ProblemUser adds time to project, line manager approves their time sheet (because they don't know the details of the project). Project manager reviews time sheets / budgets and notices someone has incorrectly book hours (or too many hours) to their project, they then have to move those hours to tidy up their project - time consuming.SolutionAdd a new option which means that project managers approves their 'elements' of someone's time sheet based on the hours booked to their projects. If someone works on several projects, then it may need multiple project managers to approve their time sheet (and probably then their line manager to approve non-project related work). Basically this is adding additional approval p
In the Issue approvals tab, a process can be added and routed, but once the issue has a resolve project created, the information in this tab disappears. Proposal is for this information to persist in this tab for easier reference (instead of sifting through updates).
i would like to have the ability to add a notice bar at the top of a specific Workfront tab/section like Home/My Work or the Requests tab. Use case: I'd like to provide updates to requesters regarding our teams turn around time to get something done, for example tell them it'll take 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks to turn something around. This would help improve communication so we don't have to send an email out. This could be updated when needed and also taken down/turned off when not needed.
As a system admin with many project templates that have similar request queues, I would like to be able to set up routing rules at the system level and then apply them to the necessary queue topics so that i can more easily manage changes to routing assignments without having to go into every template and active project.
Many of us us the 2 digit country codes in our marketo and SFDC instances. It would be amazing if there was a templated campaign that we could use looking for country is not 2 digit (list all out) or empty in the smart list. The flow would then list out in one big data value change item with 240+ choices listing ALL full countries changing them to 2 digit country code. This way we don't have to worry about doing this, but we could leverage a templated campaign that marketo offers. I have about 15 countries in a workflow that i'm listening for and changing, but due to lots of integrations not passing over 2 digit country codes -- I'm having to do more manual work. A template like this would be amazing!
In Adobe Campaign, reports of events such as opens and unique clicks can be broken down by an Hour dimension, showing the number of those events in a particular hour on a given day. When this same information is viewed through Analytics, it is appearing as if all or nearly all of the events occur at noon. For example, a report in Campaign could show that a message had 1000 opens at 9:00 AM, 1800 opens at 10:00 AM, 800 opens at 11:00 AM, and so on. Analytics will show that there are 3600 (or more) opens at noon, but none at any other time. Customer Care reported that this is due to the design of Analytics; there is a lag in data being imported into Analytics from Campaign and that data does not carry a timestamp with it, so Analytics assigns it a default of noon. This makes it so that our users are unable to use Analytics to report on data from Campaign with the same granularity as in Campaign itself. Please consider having data flowing from Campaign to An
In the Calendar on ToutApp extension, we have the dates in the following format. Here are a few times that work for me: Wed Apr 17, 12:00 PM-12:30 PM CEST Thu Apr 18, 12:00 PM-12:30 PM CEST Fri Apr 19, 12:00 PM-12:30 PM CEST Our Salespeople are all working in different languages and we've been wondering whether it's possible to have the availability dates and times in local languages (e.g., Italian, German, Spanish, etc). Changing Gmail language in the settings didn't help. Would be great if this feature can be implemented!
It would be helpful to have a secondary chart come up when you drill into a section of a pie chart, so you can see further breakdown or categorization of data. For example. if you were looking at a pie chart showing $$ spent per department, if you clicked on a singular department, another pie chart could show where those specific department dollars went by project.
While there's a lot of use from the mktoActive and mktoAddByDefault attributes when defining modules for email templates, there's a more common problem that hasn't been addressed with template attributes: requiring a module to be on all emails within a template. Sometimes, it doesn't make sense to include a header/footer/etc. outside of .mktoContainer, so Marketo users may be stuck with trusting that other users will keep modules within an email for compliance reasons--think a module that has boilerplate legal text or subscription information. In a case like that, you'd want that module to always be in the email, so the ability to do something like mktoRequired="true" in conjunction with mktoAddByDefault would address this problem. This gets even more powerful if order is respected, so, if you have a header module, middle module, and footer module all set to be required, you could allow content to go between header and middle or middle and footer
