AEM As Cloud deployment fails with dispatcher image issue by aemtutorial Abstract Video: https://youtu.be/DZEyVEMTU7U During my initial POCs with sample WKND code, I have noticed a behavior on AEM As Cloud service. When ever I go for the pipeline and trigger it, the deployment fails with reason - dispatcher image failed. Some analysis was done around it from the logs and was able to resolve it as below. I was doing my code checkout on windows and while unzipping I was using a software which was breaking the symlinks within dispatcher package. I got some warning during the unzip which I did not give much attention that point of time To debug this, first I have commented out the dispatcher section in parent pom and deployed and tested the build. It worked on cloud. Read Full Blog AEM As Cloud deployment fails with dispatcher image issue Q&A Please use this thread to ask the related questions.

In Marketo's next major release (scheduled for May 7, 2021), Marketo will upgrade export capabilities throughout the product to support XLSX in place of XLS. This means that anywhere in the product where XLS export is currently supported, this option will be replaced with an option to export to XLSX instead. Please take note of the above change as it will affect the file names (by virtue of the .xlsx extension) for all Excel exports of reports and other data from Marketo.
AEM Multitenancy: Running multiple websites on a single AEM environment by Theo Pendle Abstract Organizing your code to run a multi-tenant ecosystem If you work for, or with, a medium-to-large company using AEM, there’s a good chance that you will need to run multiple sites on a single production environment. In terms of code, this means multiple tenants. A tenant is a project that includes: -->All the applicative code to implement components, workflows, services, servlets, etc. for a website (eg: /apps/yoursite) -->All the configuration for a website (eg: /conf/yoursite) -->The initial website structure (eg: /content/yoursite, but not its children) So what’s the best way to organise your code projects so that multiple tenants can co-exist? The use case Your company has two brands: -->Brand A offers services for the general public. -->Brand B is tailored more towards B2B clients. Each brand has: -->A public website which is available on the internet. -->A privat

Hi, I have some SQL in a stored procedure that is selecting data from a database and then making that data available in a drop down list on my website. I have made a change to this SQL but am unable to get my website to pick up my changes. Is there something that I need to do to refresh/update to make the environment pick up the new changes? I have run a Maven compile and deployed that to my environment but that didn't pick up my changes. Thanks. Lisa.
Exadel Toolbox Lists: A Brand-New Way to Create a Generic List in AEM by exadel.com Abstract Being an AEM developer is sometimes more about seeking than finding. Not every problem has an out-of-the-box solution. You can spend a lot of time looking for a comfortable way to implement a routine task, especially when it comes to data storage and retrieval. A Day in the Life of an AEM Developer Let’s imagine a day in the life of AEM developer Bob. Bob’s task is to create a new AEM component for the acme.com website: a country selector dropdown. It looks like this: Toolbox First of all, Bob needs to think about the data used in this dropdown. Each entry must contain the country’s official name and ISO code. From an authoring point of view, content administrators should have the ability to alter this list anytime and preferably make the same change on all localized versions of the site at the same time. So it looks like we need some kind of a list that would contain the name/code pairs list

Multi-Org Adobe Target and AEM Experience Fragment Integration and Governance Ideas by Rohankapooronline Abstract Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Target integration is one of the most powerful and robust in the Adobe Experience Cloud. I wrote about some of the benefits of this integration back in 2019. In this post, I want to cover two topics within the context of these two solutions: Cross-IMS Org integration between AEM and Target General Target workspace governance and XF nomenclature ideas AEM & Target Cross-IMS Org Integration This is one topic I never got a clear answer to unless I tried and tested it myself. A well known fact about IMS orgs is that we cannot integrate solutions across which is absolutely true when it comes to the Adobe Experience Cloud Visitor ID among other solution but in this case, it is possible to integrate AEM with different Adobe Target instances via Adobe I/O. Having said this, I must also mention that it's not very common for us to see given m
