It would helpful if we could drag rows to adjust the task row height. When some tasks have lengthy descriptions and others don't it throws off the symmetry. I'd like to be able to "hide" some of the description, but still retain the ability to see the full description if I click on it.
We are looking to “decouple” front end element names from backend element names for Custom data elements in Workfront. Is that possible? For e.g. for this field on a custom form for tasks - the backend field is called “DE:Has spend been committed for this campaign?”. This makes the backend fields very verbose, and the SQLs that use them hard to work with. (Note: this is a relatively short name ‚Äì some custom fields are complete and very lengthy sentences/questions) Is there a facility (mapping) in workfront whereby we could have this element assume ‚Äì 1. A Front end name ‚Äì “DE:Has spend been committed for this campaign?” 2. A back end name ‚Äì de_spend_committed_flag
As an executive, I want to delegate my timesheet completion to a personal assistant, in order to save time on low-value administrative tasks (i.e. timesheets).Possible solution: enable executives to select specific users to log in to their account (i.e. their PAs).Possible solution: enable executives to assign their timesheet to a PA.
We have teams within my organization that would like to manage the creation and distribution of curated report suites/virtual report suites, but currently the VRS section of Analytics is reserved for admins, ref. Can this section get its own dedicated Analytics (Report Tool) permission so that this is possible without introducing the vulnerability of a team of new admins?
I'm hoping that there is a way while uploading a new proof to put each person's decision on the previous proof next to their name so I know which stage to put them in. Our designers currently have to have another tab with the proofing details open in order to see decisions made. it would be great if those decisions were just added to the recipients tab in the workflow on a new proof.
It would save so much time and energy if, upon uploading of a second or third version of something, if Proof could auto-fill the recipients to go only to the folks who asked to see the artwork again. (ie marked Change Required). Currently I have to take a screenshot of the previous screen to see who asked to see the art again and then refer to that screenshot to delete the folks who don't. When managing many proofs at once this is time consuming and very open to user error.
The original (custom) message cannot be found by the sender - the messages section of the proof does not contain the original message added upon creation. I think there used to be a checkbox to at least send that to the creator, (now) it's not there (anymore?).For audit purposes and in order to have a reference for the author who should be able to show evidence of what he/she wrote and push back or confirm potential blames. That's why this should be there as an option minimum, but the best would be to record that message and make it accessible for them or all involved parties.
A field should be added to the timesheet entity that will show which user actually approved the timesheet. There is a field that shows who the approver should be, but no field showing if the approver approved the timesheet or if the approval was done by an admin user. We need to be able to have a report that will show when the actual approver is different than the assigned approver.
With the new API-friendly option for custom fields, I have found an issue with the default display of custom fields in reports.Columns headers should be user-friendly by default, not system friendly. Thus, they should use the label by default as that is what the average user is aware of.
The measuring ruler took in ProofHQ changed how it behaves a while back. When you click the button, it opens but opens somewhere on the art – not where you are looking. It used to open in the view you are looking at. It is really annoying to have to shrink the view, search around to see where the ruler opened, and then move it to where your were looking and wanting to measure. Can you return to the old functionality?
Hello All, We're having integrations between Marketo and Oktopost. We're able to track some data about actions that a users performed in Social media. For example, we can see that a user clicked on a link on a post in Linkedin, or wrote a coment and so on. We would like our interesting moments to look like this: User wrote a coment "randomComment" to a post: "randompost.url" in "randomSocialMedia" In the example above Sales Team knows which post interested the user, and what exactly did user say. We're receiveing all necessary fields in Marketo but can't use them the way we want. Having possibility to place link and comment content to interesting moments would be very handy. Best Regards, Alexandr
On relatively small screens (13 inches) the Date Range dialog gets cut off and the vertical scroll bar is not visible. This looks confusing especially for new AA users as they can't recognize where to click Apply. See the screenshots below. Please improve the layout of this dialog for small screens. This is how it's displayed This is how it's displayed after scrolling
Currently, every time a change is made to an Analysis Workspace project, whether it be dragging a new component or changing the date range, all of the project's visualisations get updated "live".But when the project has many visualisations, the "live" updates can cause a noticeable slowdown in browser performance. This can hinder user productivity, because the user needs to wait for the browser becomes responsive again before performing another edit.Suggestion: allow the user to temporarily disable "live" updates while editing a project. This disabled setting can then be re-enabled either manually or when the user opens the project again later on.
Currently the only recognized OS options are: Linux Mac WindowsPlease provide an option for "Chrome OS"
Recently @wsengsiry-20 asked a question about "same activity getting edited by multiple people at same time" and in the end the last person who saves activity will keep his work and others will lose their work.I guess this would be great feature if target locks perticular activity if someone else is working on it currently. Maybe this can be achieved in two ways,1. Lock an activity for all other people if someone else is working on it.2. Show popup "someone else is currently editing this activity" if I'm trying to edit an activity on which someone else is working.
It would be awesome if the display logic had options for “Is Blank” or “Not Blank”. There are some cases where I want a field to remain hidden until something is selected in another field. Today, I have to build that with several OR criteria accounting for each choice.
In Classic when you went into an object that was Pending Approval, the "Edit Custom Form" link was hidden. In the New Experience, when you go into an issue (and I suspect any object type) that is pending approval, the Edit button (pencil) is available and it appears as though you can edit the object, including opening up the form when you click the pencil. But when you try to save your edits, you get an error notifying you that you can't make changes while an approval is pending. When a user is trying to make multiple changes and spends a lot of time filling in additional information only to find they can't save their changes, it creates a bad experience even for those experienced Workfront users who just forgot to check the status. It creates an even worse experience for those less-Workfront-savvy users who can't figure out what's wrong. If the NWE intention is “parity or better than classic”, feature needs to be reviewed. Removing the pencil would give parity.
In a Task report with Gantt chart view, can we have week dates shown from Wednesday to Tuesday rather than the currently available Sunday to Monday? For one of our clients requirements, all the campaigns should start on Wednesday and end on Tuesday.
As the client is based in Australia and follow Australian financial year which is from July to June, can we have Q1 starting from July in reports. (e.g.: a Task report with Gantt chart view).Currently in reports, quarters are following from Jan to Dec
As a user I expect to be able to see when specific Launch rules fired, in the proper sequence relative to data layer changes and other requests, within the context of the Event Timeline so that I can better understand where to look (which Launch rule) when I see a problem.
Workers don't seem to have the ability to make their own Dashboards but the UI main message tells them to click on "New Dashboard button" which doesn't exist. How frustrating. Overhead on internal help increases. People will think the WorkFront directions are lame.Case Number:00219201
In order to track our official "Customers", the most efficient way is to pull all Accounts with Closed Won Opportunities. It would be great if we could do this in Marketo. I currently have to run a report in SalesForce showing all account numbers at accounts with Closed Won Opportunities, export it, and then create a Smart List in Marketo that pulls contacts at the accounts with those specific account numbers. The problem with this is that not only is it time consuming, but it becomes outdated as soon as an opportunity is closed at a new customer. So we always have to pull new 'customer' lists each time we want to email customers only.If there's any workaround for this I'd love to hear it!Thanks
When exporting reports with large amounts of data, Workfront will produce an error about exceeding the number of rows. But sometimes I only want to export the Matrix view, not all the data in the Detail view. There should be a way to specify what you want to include in the export (All, Matrix only, Chart only, etc.)
I would like to have the FTP export of classifications made possible via either code (Python) or by having it as part of the data feed. This is useful for people using data feed and analysing clickstream but also need the classifications
Can Workfront update its functionality so we are able to bold, italicize and underline in the PHQ without having to type out every time? It’s really inconvenient and creates the opportunity for mistakes and misunderstandings between account and creative. Can text be formatted (bold, underline, italics, super/subscript) in the Comments of Workfront Proof?
