Datafacts — An App Builder Application for Adobe Experience Platform by Jeff Chasin Abstract When we introduced App Builder last year, we highlighted advantages of this complete framework for building cloud native apps hosted on Adobe’s architecture. Enterprise developers need to customize Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform for their specific business use cases and workflows and App Builder makes that so much easier. App Builder enables developers to build custom web apps that extend the functionality of Platform and Experience Cloud solutions. If you’re not familiar, check out this brief article to learn the basics, or this deep dive video for more details. The power and flexibility of App Builder was on full display recently when Softcrylic, an Adobe Solution Partner, demonstrated their Datafacts App Builder application. Sundar Sritharan is Senior Director, Software Development and Testing at Softcrylic and the engineering lead for their Datafacts App Builder appl

This tutorial builds upon the WKND GraphQL App, a React app that consumes AEM Content Fragment content over AEM’s GraphQL APIs, however does not provide any in-context authoring of SPA content. About the tutorial The tutorial intended to illustrate how a Remote SPA, or a SPA running outside the context of AEM, can be updated to consume and deliver content authored in AEM. Most activities in the tutorial focus on JavaScript development, however critical aspects are covered that revolve around AEM. These aspects include defining where the content is authored and stored in AEM and mapping SPA routes to AEM Pages. The tutorial

Hello, I am trying to sync API keys between publish instances. I followed instructions from this blog post (replacing files in the file system)I was trying to avoid instance restart so I restarted bundle with curl commandsRestarted bundle: com.adobe.granite.crypto Unfortunately when I deployed my app with encrypted config values AEM could not decrypt properties on the fly. I had to restart the instance to fix the issue. Did something change on the latest AEM and made the restart required ? Or maybe there is some other bundles that should be restarted after key sync ? And another question - seems that replacing crypto keys is a part of almost every AEM project - is there official Adobe documentation on that matter ?

Hi allrecently I've been with various discussions with Adobe Support to solve an issue I've been facing in my company by getting DTM library blocked by the Content Security Policy. Finally, we were able to solve the problem (not through Adobe support) by updating the CSP header to include the following:"default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' *.adobedtm.com *.sc.omtrdc.net; font-src 'self' data:; img-src 'self' data: *.sc.omtrdc.net;";I wanted to share this with you as Adobe didn't have any standards on how to deal with such a problem. And I'm hoping that Adobe get something documented ASAPmore details can be found here:https://content-security-policy.com/

Best practices for optimizing the quality of your images in Dynamic Media by Adobe Docs Abstract Optimizing image quality can be a time consuming process as many factors contribute to rendering acceptable results. The outcome is partly subjective because individuals perceive image quality differently. Structured experimentation is key. Adobe Experience Manager includes more than 100 Dynamic Media image delivery commands for tuning and optimizing images and rendering results. The following guidelines can help you streamline the process and achieve good results quickly using some essential commands and best practices. Best practices for image format (&fmt=) JPG or PNG are the best choices to deliver images in good quality and with manageable size and weight. If no format command is supplied in the URL, Dynamic Media Image Delivery defaults to JPG for delivery. JPG compresses at a ratio of 10:1 and usually produces smaller image file sizes. PNG compresses at a ratio of about 2:1, e
Create System User using Repository Initializer(RepoInit) in AEM as a Cloud service by Bimmisoi Abstract Repo Init is a set of instructions/scripts which help us in creating JCR structures, service users and groups. There are no explicit permissions needed in order to run these scripts. These scripts are executed early in the deployment process so that all required configuration/content exist in the system before the code is executed. Steps to create system user: Go to system console config manager and search for Apache Sling Repository Initializer Factory and create a new OSGI config. Add the below script in scripts and then the system user will be created in your AEM Note : add any name to your system user and permission as per your needs. create service user your-systemuser-name set ACL on /conf, /etc allow jcr:read for your-systemuser-name end Now in order to commit the same, copy the PID and open OSGI Installer Configuration Printer. Add your PID and select the serialization
Episode 15 - Content Automation with Experience Manager by Mark Szulc Abstract Content automation brings the power of Adobe Creative Cloud to Experience Manager Assets giving marketers the ability to automate asset production at scale, dramatically speeding the creation of variations Join me live with returning guest, Alex Thiers, Senior Product Manager, as we walk through this new innovative way to give marketers Adobe Creative Cloud editing abilities from the easy-to-use interface of Experience Manager Assets. It frees marketers from reliance on their creative teams and gives them the ability to automate asset production at scale, dramatically reducing the resources spent on creating image variations. With content automation, powerful Photoshop and Lightroom editing services are accessible directly within the DAM, allowing marketers to do tasks like retouching, auto-tuning, auto-straightening, and background knockouts, without the technical know-how of Creative Cloud apps. This gr
Content Creation Tips for Healthcare Marketers by Lysa Young-Bates Abstract In this blog series, we explore experience design for the patient and member journey. Strategy to Improve Digital Experiences in Healthcare Patient- and Member-Centered Content and Experience Design A hallmark of poorly-considered healthcare content is the tendency to create definition-based pages in isolation of one another. Before you write a word, make sure you understand a) the end goal, b) the various ways one might achieve that goal, and the c) specific audiences you’re working to affect. RELATED: How to Better Understand Your Patients and Members Strong content begins with the following considerations: Motivation – Why are they here and what will prompt them to act? Intent – What is the most likely next step? Urgency – If the next step is inevitable, how quickly would this person want/need to act? Readiness – If the next step is optional, what stage in the behavioral change process should the conte
