Just like you can click on a layout template to see who is assigned to it, it would be great to do this for job roles for users AND to see easily if the job role is used in any project templates. When scrubbing job roles and templates, it's impossible to know easily if any roles aren't even in use so they can be deleted. Also helpful to know for revising project templates if you change a role for task(s) assignments, what templates use the old role so can be easily swapped to new role.
Similar to how a project cannot be marked complete unless all requests/tasks under it are not completed. it would be really helpful if we can apply same logic to stop users from closing programs unless all open projects are marked closed.
The development could be more easy if AC can support the npm packages and we can install and use it as we do in a NodeJS code.Using JavaScript is a great way to deal with may problems. But writing every code from scratch is tedious as well as error-prone. If we could use a trust-worthy package, we can save a weeks effort and a months maintenance.Currently we could add packages to configuration>javascript codes section only if the package is available as a single file like a min.js version.
An Export Activities button in Target would be very helpful for me. I would use this feature to quickly download and share the activities on the site over to my risk/governance/compliance colleagues, who ask for this on a regular basis.
Having the ability for Text Mode Columns to be sorted by either ASC or DESC is a must, currently Text Mode Columns are not sortable, the querysort parameter doesn't work for Text Mode Columns.
We would like the ability to Automatically lock all active stages in a Workflow when a user who has the Email Alert of Decisions makes their decision on that proof.Current example is we have Project Managers and Stakeholders who are connected to different proof stages on a document, the Project Manager should be allowed to make the final decision, even if no user on the Stakeholder stage has made their decision causing the active Stakeholder stage to be locked.
Description - Replace First and Last Touch Marketing Channels (and their associated Marketing Channel Detail) fields with a single, generic Marketing Channel (and its associated Marketing Channel Detail) fieldWhy is this feature important to you -First and Last Touch Marketing Channels have been deprecated in Adobe Analytics, so there is no need to continue making that distinction in the user interface. Furthermore, for users who are familiar with the generic Marketing Channel dimension, showing First and Last Touch Marketing Channels in this UI is confusing. Also, the Help documentation also says that in the current interface, either First or Last Touch Marketing Channel can be selected for classification, since classifying one impacts the other too. So showing First and Last Touch Marketing Channel in the UI is redundant. How would you like the feature to work -Replace both First and Last Touch Marketing Channel (and their associated Marketing Channel
Description -While there is the option to download a single dimension into 50,000 rows in Analytics Workspace, downloading 50k rows including the breakdowns as it is shown in workspace would be ideal. Why is this feature important to you -This functionality used to be available using ad-hoc analysis and it was faster to report out to leadership. Report builder and data warehouse do not have the same flexibility as Workspace so it's not possible to get the reporting needed using another tool. How would you like the feature to work -Upon downloading a CSV in workspace, download 50,000 rows including the breakdowns as they are shown in workspace.Current Behaviour -Upon downloading a CSV in workspace, you can only download 400 rows including the breakdown. Otherwise you can only download a single dimension and see 50k rows.
I have tried all the samples on the forum but still unable to merge / sharecol multiple columns into one for reporting.
I was recently asked to provide Workfront's Authentication requirements to our security team. I went to the setup page and was able to see some of them. However it doesn't show the requirement for length of password. That can be found by requiring someone to reset their password, then going to that setup page. But for admin knowledge it would be nice to have all the authentication requirements listed in one place. Even if we cant change them.
It would be so helpful if we get ease to edit dynamically generating html elements, in VEC itself. As we were trying to change color of CTA on popup, Since popup html is getting generated after click event, target modification are unable to find CTA until click event happens and shows error in modifications tab (Element not found). There are ways to edit dynamically generating elements with event based mbox call with help of adobe launch, but if possibly we get this ability to specify event in VEC itself and edit dynamic elements as easily as we edit different elements in VEC just by clicking on it would be great functionality. In short we would like to get option for specifying event in VEC itself and apply modifications after event happens. So that a non technical person would be able to setup complex things with ease and it would become more user friendly for them (For example : Change CTA color after click event happens)Thanks,Gauresh Kodag.
Currently the hasNotes feature of a Document Version reports notes that are added across all versions of a proof even if there is 3 versions. It would be good if there was also a way to check for notes added only to the current version and again report True/False.
It seems that the only way for the "Is Ready" flag to get turned on with a Kanban board is to physically drag an item out of the Backlog. If a developer clicks into something from the backlog and changes the status to "In Progress", the item disappears from the board. Please add a setting to default "Is Ready" to "Yes" for all incoming work to a Kanban team.
There has been a lot of confusion on my team about the purpose of the "Send Work Request" button within our Kanban Board. Developers expect to use this as a quick way to add tasks to the board, however this button was apparently built to create "personal tasks", so the work request never actually makes it to the board. Instead, it goes to a new project called "[Developer's Name]'s Tasks". This isn't helpful for us, as we would expect those requests to go to the project associated to the Kanban board. The ability to select a project when using this button would help clear up these issues.
While creating reports for our management-level sponsors to see hours spent across groups & teams for the projects they sponsor, we were surprised to find that unless they have Manage permissions on the project, Sponsors can only see Hours for their own teams (either within the Project navigation or on reports.) We then found there is no way to set up the project template or other permissions to grant Manage permissions to whoever the Project Sponsor is (in a dynamic way so we're not attempting to have the project template just contain a manual list of names of anyone who *might* be a project sponsor, which is a moving target.)We received the suggestion from Support that we could create an Access Level and check the admin access box for "Timesheets & hours", but this requires us to (a) give overly broad access to timesheets & hours for projects they are *not* sponsoring, and (b) maintain the (moving target, again) list of users who need to be assigned that acc
It would be helpful to have the ability to create a Copy of a Proof (and its associated Comments) and attach that Proof Copy to a different Task. Here is an example of where this would be helpful: 1) Proof is created in "Client Review" Task 2) Client opens that Proof, makes Comments, and a Decision 3) Account Team reviews the Client comments and then COPIES that Client Proof (and comments) from the "Client Review" Task to "Creative Revisions" Task. - we don't want to Move the Proof to the "Creative Revisions" Task, because the client may want to update/reference it. 4) Creative Team can view the comments that the Client made, update and then make a new Version of that Client Proof in their "Creative Revisions" Task. 5) Account Team opens the "Creative Revisions" Task and compares the Client-commented Proof (v.1) with the Creative Team's updates (v.2)
Presently proof review is happening over webex or teams meeting where team members are sharing the screen using the apps like webex or teams. Since many members are working out different locations there is a lag in viewing the videos or images as its not shared directly from Workfront/Proofing tool. Can we find a way to directly schedule a meeting and share screen directly from proofing tool which may resolve this issue. Clearview flex is an example for this.If this is not possible to implement, can any of the live meeting tools can be integrated with workfront/proofing to seamlessly schedule meetings and share screens to all the attendees.
When assigning an issue to users from a request queue, update the issue status to Assigned automatically instead of 'New'.
Our marketing team regularly receives stand-alone requests from internal associates. Having a column for the planned completion date on the Requests page would greatly assist in setting initial expectations for the project.
It would be helpful if the Project Name were displayed in the Daily Digest email. We have potentially have several projects running in parallel that are based on the same task template. The email only displays the Task Name, so it is not clear which project it belongs to without clicking the link to open the task in Workfront.
Multiple teams within our business create and share proofs on ProofHQ. We therefore have created folders for each client, with subfolders for each project. I would like to create a report for one of those subfolders or clients. I cannot do this through the current filtering system. Can we add folders / subfolders to the filtering process please.
Admin ability to prevent all users, or a subset, from being able to log hour entries in the system.Use case - we're updating job role cost rates across the system. There's a period of time where we need users to create Billing Records and add all project hours to them. We then update all job role cost rates. We don't want users being able to add net new hour entries while all of this is taking place. An easy way for the admin to lock hour entry functionality would be super helpful. Doing this by updating sharing settings, per project, without preventing users from still having proper access to projects to do other actions, is too big a lift.
Description - We should be able to transfer date ranges like we can transfer other assets in Adobe analytics. Why is this feature important to you - If a user leaves the organization and has created multiple date ranges which is used in multiple workspace project, It will help us to transfer the ownership of the date ranges as we do it for other assets. How would you like the feature to work - We should have the date ranges added in the transfer assets flow.Current Behaviour - Date ranges are non-transferrable at this time.
Description - An ability to restore accidentally deleted date range. If we accidentally delete a date range, there is no way to restore it.Why is this feature important to you - We accidentally deleted a date range which is used in a complex workspace project and we don't want to add/modify the existing report so we want to have the deleted date range restored. How would you like the feature to work - A simple request to restore the deleted date range.Current Behaviour - There is no way to restore date ranges. Adobe client care is unable to restore it too.
Whenever the mouse pointer enters the Fallout area, the whole visualization changes so we can see the dimensions and metrics of the Fallout. It would be great if we had the option to lock the Fallout, this way it would not change until we unlock it again.
