As an Admin there should be a way to delete a Field out of the Org--not just hide it, but delete it so the Org Admin users no longer see something that should not be there in the first place. Of course all records should have a NULL value in that field before it's removed, but as a Admin user if something was created on accident currently there has to be a way allowing it to go away completely. Even when fields are Hidden, if you search for Keywords those fields still show up in search and you shouldn't have to live with it forever.
A general theme for my team is that time tracking is too complicated. Because users have so many tasks, their timesheets are too big. Sure we could reduce the number of tasks, but teams like the list of work items but shouldn't have to put 15 minutes to each sub task. The idea would be to select the tasks or parent tasks to show on the timesheet.Time tracking at the project level is too high, while the task level is too low. If we could log time at the parent task level or task level if no parent exists, then it would greatly simply time entry. An alternative is update the timesheet view to show the Parent Task above tasks, then allow for hiding the children tasks. Then people would just see and track time to the parent tasks.
Currently there is an option for the Assigned To's Profile Picture to display in a report or view in the system. However, most us want to see all of the Assignees and not just the Primary Assigned user. Being able to include the profile picture of all of the individuals assigned to a task would greatly improve our ability to quickly recognize who is assigned.
Users would like the ability to add specific request queues to their favorites list. This could function in a similar way as the project template favorite update.
Apologies if this idea was already voiced, but I didn't see anything for it with my search. Not sure if this functionality is even possible, but I figured I would try to share. My team and I are interested in a real-time chat feature for Workfront Proof. We already have real-time insight as to who is in the proof displaying initials at the top right, but it would be great to be able to click on their circle to send them a quick note or question. Tagging a user isn't always necessary, and it creates tons of extra emails and notifications. Having the extra functionality to collaborate "on the fly", rather than having to switch applications to find them in our chat app, would definitely increase productivity.
Would be great if access level and home group were part of the audit log data so we can compare how the logins are going by the different license types.
We would like to request the following enhancement for Disney:-Current situation: When changing the status of a Project to "On Hold" or "Cancelled", the proofs already setup don’t get on hold and approvers keep getting reminders of due dates on the proofs. -Enhancement: When changing the status of a Project to "On Hold" or "Cancelled", notify the approvers of non-approved proofs by sending an email notification and showing it in the notification center. Also, when the Project is moved out of those statuses, notify users in the proof when it's back to Active.
Allow updates/comments on projects, programs & requests to be sorted (by date, by user, by thread which is the current approach). Often users just want to see the most recent comments on a project. If folks are replying to an older thread, then the person cannot easily find the most recent updates.
We generate reports sometimes with a ton of data, and not being to increase the default view to beyond 2000 rows is a hindrance. Yes, people can click 'see more' and scroll to more pages, but for leadership reports non-savvy users don't always see the ability to do this and think the 2000 rows they see is the whole report. Even for seasoned users, we want to see everything or at least increase to 5000 for usability.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Ability to control "Requirement" and "Visibility" field settings for dropdowns linked to a JSON Use-case: To be able to reference a dropdown that uses a JSON for another field's "Requirement" and "Visibility" field settings Current/Experienced Behavior: We cannot control or use the "Requirement" and "Visibility" field settings, when referencing to a dropdown that uses a JSON for its options Improved/Expected Behavior: Able to choose a dropdown field in the "Requirement" and "Visibility" field settings that uses a JSON Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Customer-name/Organization name: Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
We have custom forms attached to documents. While I can print custom forms attached to the project, and print the document and related information, there's no way to print the document summary and include the fields from the custom form. In our situation, the documents and the custom form are mandatory in the approval process and sign off. We will need to print the two in the same PDF file, along with the approval and other information. This is required for auditing purposes.
Segments created in the UI and API cannot be edited other than the original source. Facilitate management of Segments, bulk creation and allow adjustments in the UI.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Fix overlapping elements in metadata schema editor Use-case: To have a better user experience in using the metadata schema editor Current/Experienced Behavior: Currently, there are some overlapping elements in the metadata schema editor. Some of these examples are using the "Multi-line text" field and adding multiple options for dropdowns. See screenshots below. Improved/Expected Behavior: No overlapping elements or no UI errors Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Customer-name/Organization name: Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: New Contexthub Segments placed at conf location with 6.4 repository restructuring don't have copy-paste options Use-case: Content Authors who are extensively using context hub segments for personalization rely heavily on copy-pasting segments and tweaking some changes in the existing one Current/Experienced Behavior: No copy paste option in new segment location. it was present though in 6.3 with the classic option under miscadmin Improved/Expected Behavior: Copy-paste option would definitely improve time to market for content authors who cater personalization Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): 6.5.11 Customer-name/Organization name: Accenture Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Allow users to add restricted characters in asset file/folder name through a console/tools menu Use-case: There has been many instances of this use-case, where customer has asked to restrict use of specific chars in the asset file/folder name. Current/Experienced Behavior: Current : There are some restricted chars which are not allowed, apart from that , if you need to add a new one, you need to overlay libs file and and your new chars to the list. Expected: A console/dialog exists in the asset section of the tools where we can add a list of chars we don't want to be included in the file/folder name. Improved/Expected Behavior: No overlaying of OOTB code for a small change such as including a single char in the list of characters not allowed. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Customer-name/Organization name: Screenshot (if applicable): Cod
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: We would propose to have an out of the box way to always add the "?wcmmode=disabled" url slug to urls inside the author "Preview as published" environment because without it, we experience custom components breaking in the "Preview as Published". If it was always added, the author instance's "Preview as Published" could be fully navigateable for an author, which is good for demo's to stakeholders or business or testing UX flows. Use-case: An author wishes to test or demonstrate a UX flow to stakeholders on the author's "Preview as Published" to include the most recent visual changes. Current/Experienced Behavior: An author clicks a link on a "Preview as Published" page and is redirected to the correct URL, but without the "?wcmmode=disabled". The new page features components that visually break, visually misbehave or do not load content from content fragments. Improved/Expected Behavior: An author clicks a link on a "Preview
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: AEM Support for HEVC / H.265 Videos Use-case: Cinematic videos from the new iphone are a new file type Current/Experienced Behavior: Video previews do not play correctly as MOV files Improved/Expected Behavior: Videos should preview as MOV files Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEMaaCS Customer-name/Organization name: DSW Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
As an organisation we are completely gutted/disappointed that the view you get on TEAMS > Scheduling is going. ALL of our teams use daily in their catch-ups and for team leaders to see who has got what on - its a great one page visual view of all members of a work team. You can also see visually a project tracking across the work team as well. Its is also ONE of the MAIN attractions for converting teams to Workfront. Whilst Workload Balancer you can view projects scheduled against a person, you have to use the dropdown to see everyone PLUS for people who are visual only - this view is really hard to read. We would like to see this view stay. Thank you.
We have tried implementing an AWS SFTP location with Adobe Launch, which we discovered is not supported. From our support rep:"I checked internally and found that Currently 'S3 does not support SFTP Symlinks for Launch SFTP Hosts'. It is my understanding engineering is considering this as a feature in the future, but I do not have a guarantee that they will implement support for this. Options going forward are to create an archive and manually place the library on the AWS locationhttps://33sticks.com/how-to-self-host-a-launch-library/ Or host using an SFTP that does not link to AWS." We would like the ability to push files to an Amazon or Azure host.
Description -Currently there are two methods to integrate A4T, either via the sdid approach or the data insertion api.The sdid approach is very limited as it has quirks related to first-time visitors. There is also a complete absence of technical guidance or documentation on how to generate an SDID if you are using server-side target on a modern platform that does not support one of the Target SDKs.This is particularly important as the most substantial/performant types of experiments/activities are likely to be run server-side, but server-side analytics lacks feature parity with client-side.The data insertion api approach is very expensive, as it increments an additional server call each time a user has an activity response from Target. It also introduces significant/unacceptable sequencing issues; either the A4T event arrives before the analytics event, causing misstatements of values related to things like marketing channels or it arrives after the page level hit for which the
Currently, task commit dates can only be set by going into the task details view or the side panel. Many project owners need to track commit dates as well as planned completion date, without assigning the task, or even when assigned. Allowing the editing of the commit date directly from the project task list would speed up the editing of this field
My VP of Marketing wants me to start reporting on the number of projects my team (Marketing) was working on for the previous month. Right now Workfront doesn't have the ability to pull the number of projects with a particular status within a specific period of time. For example, she'd like to know that Marketing was working on X number of projects in the month of December 2017. This functionality would be great, and I'm sure other teams using Workfront would benefit from this reporting.
Allow "out of office" indicators from Outlook / email source to carry through to WorkFront for all users. This will help in resource planning and scheduling for immediate and future project plans.
