Creating an operational Marketo Engage Interesting Moment program can be, well, “interesting.” Let me explain. The “best practice” that we are accustomed to as Marketo Experts is this: We create an operational Interesting Moment “super program” in our operational program folder that triggers based on program status changes in your Marketo Engage programs and writes the unique Interesting Moment in your organizationally governed format. This trigger can be in a distinct Interesting Moments program or embedded in your scoring program (although this presents challenges if you have to make updates). An example of an operational trigger in your instance may look like this smart campaign: Trigger: Flow (Interesting Moment component): Most of us that have been operating in Marketo Engage, and have this operational best practice framework in place, have an operational program in place that is executing on each of your programs whose status

As your experience with Workfront grows, the processes that you and your team (and OTHER teams) will want to manage in Workfront will also undoubtably grow. Before you start building, we recommend you document and design your new process outside of Workfront first. Why would you do that? And what does it look like?In this on-demand webinar, originally broadcast on October 19, 2022, Didi Dunn (@dididunn), Principal Consultant for Adobe Workfront, joined TWO experts from T-Mobile – Skye Hansen (@skyehansen), Product Manager and Workfront System Administrator, and Shawn Boyd, Workfront Strategist. Together they covered:The critical elements to consider before creating a workflow in WorkfrontA list of recommended questions you can ask to fully understand the processes requirementsTips for putting together the ideal working group to influence and champion this new processFirst-hand experience and lessons learned from T-Mobile on how they manage numerous strategic implementations ea
Recently in a day care ticket, adobe support team has mentioned that it is suggested to have a separate datastore for standby server.if we want to implement cold-standby in an existing AEM environment with a file datastore, do we have to copy over the existing datastore to a separate folder and update the configurations accordingly.Regards,Ramgopal.
We're using AEM cloud and running into the following dispatcher error: Unable to create parent directory /mnt/var/www/html/content. Since its on cloud I'm not sure how to resolve since we don't have access to adjust any permissions.
We are excited to announce some important updates released to Dynamic Chat this month that we think you’ll find useful. Custom Routing Rules For meeting booking functionality, we have round robin as the default routing logic for identifying an agent whose calendar is to be shown to the visitor. We have introduced Custom rules to give you more flexibility to define your criteria and group of agents based on which an agent's calendar is to be resolved. With custom rules, you can leverage lead, company and inferred attributes to define a qualification criteria based on which an agent's calendar should be resolved. Notes: You can use all lead/company attributes that you enabled as part of your Adobe Marketo Engage Sync You can assign more than one agent to a rule and it will round robin within the rule Similar to audience criteria in dialogues, you can create groups for complex routing criteria Similar to dialogues, there is a p

Hi,I installed service pack 8 on a fresh AEM 6.5 instance in my mac machine. 37 bundles go into Install state which were previously active before service pack. I tried multiple times by setting up fresh instance again but its the same thing. What could be the solution?
Hi everyone, I wanted to pop in to let you know that the ability to rename pins is now available in Preview and it would be great to hear your feedback. It is planned to remain in Preview for two weeks and will be released to Production on October 27, 2022. Also, we've added an improved experience when removing a pin. These options to rename or remove a pin appear in a drop-down menu when you hover over the pin. Find more information here and here.
Hello Members,I have a AEM 6.5 OSGi framework on-premise Author and Publisher instances running in Windows OS. It was working fine for a long time. We took a snapshot of the Windows server and we used the Window's Services to restarted the Author and Publisher instances. The Publisher instance is running fine, but the Author instance is not. The first thing I teach in Velocity classes is that VTL (Velocity Template Language) is essentially a simpler way to write Java, and totally unrelated to JavaScript. VTL frees you from many Java concerns. You don’t need a main method. You don’t need to think as much about classes and objects (though you’ll be a better developer if you do). And, key to any template language, you don’t need print: if it’s not inside a #directive() it’s assumed to be output.[1] VTL is deliberately forgiving of runtime errors, prioritizing showing some output to the end user over failing completely. Some code — though far from all — that would throw a fatal error in pure Java is ignored by the Velocity engine. But that forgiving quality is also frustrating: the code still fails. You just don’t see it fail, so you may not catch the side effects. Some broken code I was looking at someone’s {{my.token}} code today and saw a structure like thi
Hi, I need to find two different resource types in the content and then render these in the correct order as they are stored in the content. private List<???how to define it???> getRelevantResources(Resource r) { return ResourceModelUtil.getAllResourcesFromResourceType(r, ???here I would have two resource types???) .stream() .map(resource-> event.adaptTo(??? not sure how to adapt here to two resource types???)) .filter(Objects::nonNull) .collect(Collectors.toList()); I wrote a conceptual code but I am missing some building blocks that I marked with questionmarks. The idea is that I get a list that I can then render in a template. Thanks in advance.

We use parent tasks as our agile stories on our Kanban, which results in child tasks being assigned to team members for each story so they can track their work and "what comes next". This has created a challenge for our project managers when adjusting hours per story, since they're spread out across 2-3 tasks rather than just 1. Has anyone ran into a similar issue or have any solutions to make hours easily updatable?
As a system administrator, you have a really big job. You are responsible for creating and maintaining processes, intake queues, dashboards, custom forms, training documentation and integrated applications (to name a few), to ensure that work can be done with ease and efficiency. You’re often asked to be the leader in driving organizational adoption and feeding decision-making data to your leaders. It can feel overwhelming to know where to start, or how to corral a wayward Workfront, whether you’re a brand new System Administrator or a seasoned pro. This week, we’re kicking off a series designed to provide essential advice and action steps to make this challenging role a bit easier. We’re starting with the idea of “setup,” and will dive into the other key elements of administrator essentials in following weeks. DIAGRAM AND DEFINE Workfront will not fix a broken process. It’s imperative to take the time to thoughtfully define and diagram your processes i
Does anyone have experience with the Integrated Campaign Blueprint Template? We are looking to revamp our request queues to better intake multi deliverable requests. Thanks!
Hello everyone, I have been trying to upload different images in my local instance, but the images won't load correctly and I am not able to use them in my sites. This is what it looks like after processing. Any help is appreciate it!
We've had some reorgs in the company, resulting in some departmental/role name changes and restructures. If you have experienced this, have you gone in and just renamed existing roles in WF to map to their new updated naming, OR do you deactivate those existing roles and create new roles? I don't want to overload the system with legacy information, but not sure if there would be downstream impacts later on if we just rename existing active groups/roles? Any insights from those who have been here before? Thanks in advance!

I am working with AEM 6.5 and have implemented SAML AuthN using Okta as my IdP. I added the OSGi, configured Okta and extended the AuthenticationInfoPostProcessor, all appears to be working. The auth process flow is as follows: siteA.com/some/protected/page.html -> (redirect to) okta.com -> POST siteA.com/saml_login -> GET siteA.com/some/protected/page.html All of that works great, now i add another site siteB and here is what happens with that one. siteB.com (all pages are protected) -> (redirect to) okta.com -> POST siteA.com/saml_login -> GET siteA.com Okta is intentionally configured to use an endpoint on siteA as that is my main site and okta for SAML login only supports a single redirect URL. Is this some issue with cookies not being available for the postProcess? Is there a way i can resolve this? EDIT:So, i think this is a cookie issue. Since my postProcess is on siteA any cookies set by siteB are not sent to siteA after Okta

Session Details [Level: Beginner] Adobe Experience Manager Forms has released many exciting new features on Cloud Service. For forms developers, there is sometimes a need to leverage custom scripts and third-party JavaScript libraries to enhance the AEM Forms user experience. In this session we’ll show you how to use client libraries and take the scripting out of the hands of Form Authors, allowing them to easily select functions needed to perform advanced calculations, date manipulation, and custom modal windows. We will also showcase our latest innovations with Headless Adaptive Forms, where you can author a form once and use it in multiple channels including web, SPA app using react, and customize the react app. Our product experts will demonstrate how to use the same form for data capture experiences in interactive channels like WhatsApp – so you can make forms work the exact way you want them to.
