Good day, I have a checkbox in the master page, which when checked, makes visible a row with text field in a table.  I also have a button to add a table and the row is visible when added if the box is checked.  I also have a script in the checkbox that when unchecked, the row in the table hides again.  The problem is that when I uncheck the box, it only hides the row in the first table but not the other tables that were created.  I need to have the row in each table hidden.  I could not find any scripts/information on how to accomplish this.  Please help.  One of the scripts in the checkbox is... if (this.rawValue == "0") {this.resolveNode("howobtainedsubform.cardssubform.CARDS.Table1.Row10.encodedinfo").presence = "hidden"  

  HI Team,   author wasn't having Language copy role hence i added user in project-administrator group and user was able to see Language Copy Option       but when tried to use the language option , getting below error

Hi TeamIs  AEM Forms OSGi nothing but AEM Adaptive Forms ,Can we use AEM Forms in AEMaaCS by installing add-on package and content package ? Have 3 different forms, the first form has seven (7) pages, the second form has five (5) pages and the third form has three (3) pages.   How can I connect these forms together into one (1) common form, and depending on the button pressed or dropdown selection, switch from form to form and automatically unhide the others?.   Thx in Advance  niko

Hi, I have a requirement to restrict the logged in user on Publish instance to access particular adaptive forms. So basically restrict groupA to access formA and groupB to access formB.   Our forms is hosted on a site page where the multiple adaptive forms links are provided for business use.   Step1: I got succeeded in setting up CUG's to our dashboard page where the adaptive form links are exist. So the users who are part of the CUG group can access this site page. All Good.   Step 2: Now I need to restrict the user to access only certain adaptive forms on the dashboard. The way I have tried is to setup the deny permissions for the CUG group at /content/dam/formsanddocuments/projectname/formA & /content/forms/af/projectname/formA.   Though the deny permissions were set the CUG group where the user is part of. Post login he is still able to access the formA regardless of the deny permissions.   Can someone provides how this usecase can be accomplished? &nb

Hi All,   I have made some changes in Adaptive Forms and now i want to check the original Version of Adaptive form.   I am not able to see the changes. I tried in "TimeLine" tab and no version are there in Adaptive form.   Is there any way i can see the changes.

AEM Responsive Grid with 0px height by Bear Cherian Abstract In AEM when you create a new page component with a editable area that uses the responsive grid (wcm/foundation/components/responsivegrid) you might experience an issue where the editable area appears, but has no height, and is unusable. All you get is a thin blue line where the editable area should be. The cause of this is a missing include. To initialize the AEM editing features, an JSP is loaded that initializes all of the editable areas, as well as some other things. The solution is to add the following in your of your page component You can remove the comment, but I like to leave it in so I, or anyone else editing the page component, knows why we have it in there. Hi, I have imported my maven project into eclipse and using "install new software" option(comes under Help) I have added AEM Server(Name - AEM & Location - https://eclipse.adobe.com/). After that when I opened AEM as Perspective, I could see this option - No Servers are available. Click this link to create new server to create new server. There I have selected Adobe Experience Manager from Adobe and gave Server host name and server name. But in the next page instead of showing the resources from my imported project, it is empty and showing - There are No resources that can be added or removed from the server. I am able to build my project without any issue, but not able to install AEM Developer tools. I am using eclipse - Version: 2020-09 (4.17.0) and Maven - version 3.9.0 and I tried with latest version of eclipse as well. I tried many things - reinstalling the eclipse, re-importing the projects, adding maven plugins from marketplace etc, but nothing is working so f

Hi All,   I have a question regarding how the AEM package versions work.  I am on 6.5.10  Please help me understand the below :  Lets say I have a package basics-2.0.9  I install package basics-2.0.10 and notice something not working fine. To revert to the older version, I chose other versions from the package and install basics-2.0.9 After this everything works fine and also bundle shows 2.0.9  version.  However, Please tell me if this is right or if I should have uninstalled 2.0.10 before 2.0.10 ?  Thanks and regards, Vijaya Kumar A

Hi All,   I have create a new project with archetype by the help of Adobe Tutorials using https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-wknd-tutorial-develop/project-archetype/project-setup.html?lang=en. I was following the same steps but for me when i open the page n edit mode it shows blank for me and even i face the same for another projects for AEM Geeks tutorials new videos.   I did inspect element in developer mode and in console i am able to see an error as -   "DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom/browser-polyfill.js.map: System error: net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND     Please do the needful. In this i have already recompile the client libs reset the AEM instance, still issue is same in another browsers as well. Please let me know if any further information or details required. Happy to discuss on Zoom call or preferred way, if possible. &nbsp

Hi All,I have created a workflow to move/archive a node from one loaction to another location, but in same hirearchy, if hirearchy is not available it will create the same hirearchy.example if we run workflow for /content/project/website/en-us/parent/child. it will create the same hirearchy under /content/archived and move the "child" node. /content/archived/website/en-us/parent/child The problem I am facing here let say If I pass a payload /content/project/website/en-us/parent/child and run workflow it will successfully move node [child] from one loaction to another, and create the same hirearchy. But again if I need to move the parent it is showing me ItemExistException. because in above case it is alreadry created,Could you please guide me the optimize way to resolve this, I have mentioned to TODO in code but not sure is it optimized way to achieve, so need guidance here.I have used  : JcrUtils.getOrCreatedByPath(movedPath, "cq:page", session ) @9944223

Hello Guys !Really confused with the extension of core components by creating a proxy component and adding additional features as per the requirement. The use case is i need to bind an icon and text to the tab title which is being generated automatically and the author should have the flexibility to change the icon and text. In the above tab title highlighted , Need to integrate an icon and text. So that the remaining tabs functionality keeps the same. Please advise how we can integrate this functionality with proxy component ? 

Hi All,    I am trying to create a Form Data Model, but it is not fetching the DataSource I created. I uploaded and installed the current JDBC Driver for MySQL. I then created my DataSource, and I will have a screenshot of that below. I have already tried this configuration in my local instance, but when I decided to upload AEM Forms and create a FDM in our DEV instance, I am getting an error.   

Hi, I wanted to add Bootstrap Web Fonts to my site & use icons without using CDN.  I did the following, Bootstrap is working fine but web fonts(kept fonts folder in & out of css folder) are not working in Sites. So, can you please tell me how to achieve this or what I missed? Thanks.  

heya,   We're using AEM 6.5 and seeing an odd issue come up, we've translated our sites into language/country folders (eg. "es"->"es-es") for Spanish language in Spain, this is so that we can use MSM. We've upgraded all the way from Cq5 and havent seen the issue before so looking for some help 🙂   Basically, we've got authors who's user preferences are set to "English" using the author, but editing the pages of the "es-es" or "fr-fr" sites and its translating the author interface from English to Spanish/French - how can we set the Author interface to English?!       thanks!  

Hi all, I am currently using AEM as cloud 2023 version and while using the custom component once I'm drop into the page means component placeholder is showing the component name but here what is the issue is when drop the component in to the page that time the component placeholder is working fine but even after authoring the dialog also the component placeholder still showing with the gray color like the screenshot below, what is the expected i want is when drop the component into the page at the time it need show the component title and after authoring the component it need to show only authored values of the field, If any one have the solution means give some ideas to resolve the issue. This is the placeholder I'm currently using in the component <sly data-sly-use.template="core/wcm/components/commons/v1/templates.html" data-sly-call="${template.placeholder @ isEmpty=!title}"></sly>

we have content fragment and which is having dropdown.issue is:content fragment dropdown opens when we click outside of dropdown border layer (same is happening for all content fragment dropdowns). Can this be fixed? or do we have solution for this?
