We are developing a standalone application that is built on top of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This application is designed to enhance and extend the capabilities of AEM but operates independently rather than as an integration with other systems.I am interested in listing this product on Adobe Exchange. However, I am unsure about the correct approach for listing a product that is not an integration but a self-contained application designed to work within AEM.Submission Process: What are the specific steps and requirements for submitting a standalone AEM-based application to Adobe Exchange? Are there particular guidelines or criteria that need to be met for non-integration products?Connector Requirements: Since my product is a standalone application, do I need to use or reference Adobe connectors in any way, or is this only relevant for integrations?

I was on a call recently where someone from Workfront mentioned it wasn't good practice to use Parent tasks as Predecessors.  We do this pretty regularly since often times the tasks nested under a parent all need to be completed in order for the next tasks to start. So, instead of listing every single task as the predecessor we have just done the parent task. Doing it this way will also encompass any ad-hoc tasks that might be added after the fact when the project is in progress.   Does anyone have any insight into why this might not be a good practice?   Example: Task Number Task Name Predecessor 1 Parent Task 1   2 Task A   3 Task B   4 Task C   5 Parent Task 2 1 6 Task D   7 Task E   8 Task F

we have aem-6.5.20 on-prem version managed by AMS currently we have saml integration for static page paths as below/content/mysite/eu/en/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/de/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/fr/private-portal We configured in saml section in configMgr with Synchronized Attributes . it is working as expected till today Now our new use-case is we wanted to do sso for dynamic page paths instead of  static page paths.We have login button in header section of all pages. if user clicks on login button then we need to do saml authentication programmatically and do the sso. Also we need to get the Synchronized Attributes from com.adobe.granite.security.user.UserProperties object. In this case i need to remove the saml config from configMgr. Not sure how to start and where we need to pass certalias key programmatically. Thanks in advance for your solutions and suggestion.

Hello,I am using AEM 6.3.  I am trying to understand the relationship between template policies (i.e. policy_123456) and the configuration stored in etc/design/<your-project-name>/.content.xml.In [template]/policies, you can store mappings (sling:resourceType="wcm/core/components/policies/mapping") which sets the cq:policy value.* They map to policy_xxxxx nodes (sling:resourceType="wcm/core/components/policy/policy"), often (if not always) stored in /apps/settings/wcm/policies. And those policies store things like (allowed) "components", the "columns" used in a responsive grid, and so forth.But there is also storing configurations in etc/design/<your-project-name>/.content.xml, according to Configuring Layout and Layout Mode. It's not clear if that information is to be stored directly in the <your-project-name> node, the <your-project-name> jcr:content node, or at <your-project-name> jcr:content > mycontentpath > myparsys. I want users to be able to move assets arbitrarily between any two given directories in AEM. However, I need them not to be able to delete assets. How can I accomplish that currently in AEM as a Cloud? I've seen a few posts about this but they all suggest options that are not available currently in the Cloud offering.

Hello Adobe Workfront Community,   It’s been a while since our last update, and I appreciate your patience as we worked on this behind-the-scenes. I wanted to share with you all the next steps for the Adobe Workfront Ideas Space.   In my initial announcement, I highlighted our dedication to the Legacy Review Process, a collaboration with the Workfront Product Management team aimed at responding to top ideas from the past few years. Earlier this year, the Product Team successfully completed the Legacy Review Process. A total of ~100 ideas across the 10 core Workfront product areas have been reviewed and their statuses have been updated (please refer to the original announcement for the 10 core areas).   We have made sure to tag the original idea publisher so they are notified of our responses. Recently, Adobe has performed the RHEL8 upgrade on all of our AEM Servers. After the upgrade, our Azure pipelines started failing when deploying the code to both dev and stage environment. The error is as following[ERROR] Failed to execute goal com.day.jcr.vault:content-package-maven-plugin:1.0.2:install (dev-author-deploy) on project wknd-com2.ui.apps: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target -> [Help 1]Adobe tried re-installing the certs and re-installed the Java, but no luck and adobe was asking us to use the Adobe Cloud Manager for the deployments but we have a few dependencies with Azure that we can't go immediately to cloud manager for deploying to lower environments. I would appreciate any help on this.

I would like to display a icon in a project report column. A different icon based on a specifically named project task {status} value. Hello Community, Recently, we encountered some unexpected behavior in AEM, and the results of our investigation were even more surprising. Given that this issue is not specific to our project but seems to be related to AEM's core code, some of you might have come across it before. We would appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to properly address this issue. Please share your thoughts and experiences. The issueAfter deploying to production, requests to the home page resulted in a blank page. The HTML served appeared invalid: it had a valid <head> tag and its content, but the <body> tag was only opened without any content. Moreover, the <body> and <html> tags were left unclosed.InvestigationAfter a brief investigation, we discovered that requests with query parameters were processed correctly, indicating that the erroneous markup was only present at the dispatcher level.From the AEM error logs, we identified that the root of the problem was AEM'

I am seeing a particular error in the logs which comes when a page is rendered in the edit mode. 18.08.2022 05:29:31.741 [] *ERROR* [ [1660800571706] GET /editor.html/content/abc/us/en.html HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.cq.msm.ui.servlet.IsSourceRenderCondition path /content/abc/us/en.html to check render condition is not validNOTE:  This is happening for any page opened in edit mode. MSM is not implemented.Any thoughts on this ?EDIT: I have been trying to get to the root cause of this error and following are my findings 1.  I was able to replicate the same error in my local. Hi everyone, I have a complex data structure (TreeMap) developed in a Java class that systematically splits a string and assigns different values to nested Lists and HashMaps. The implementation is successful in the backend so far with the structure definition shown below. Dropping the variable declaration here as well.  private Map<String, List<Map<String, Map<String, List<Map<String, String>>>>>> listOfRecommendedProducts = new TreeMap<>(); Debugging instance screenshot Below is the HTL implementation for the same. Before I explain the problem, dropping some context here. The first line has categoryList.index mentioned while looping the initial list, there are certain categories of a product from which default is shown on the page while others are hidden until user makes a selection. I had to get the index here while looping the list in order to only show the details with the corresponding category on the page
