Hello!  We are trying to setup a new custom field, or check if the system can provide this, to track the date that a project's planned completion date changed on, our goal is to be able to review logs of when these changes occur in a project. Eventually we will want to use this field to provide updates in another fusion scenario that post an update in the project with what the date changed from, what it changed to, and when it changed so that we can historically track these changes. However, if we can export or report on specific system change information we would not need the Fusion scenario for this, so we'd like to see if it's possible without fusion.  I was able to pull a report on plannedcompletiondate changes, however since our projects are setup by Start Date they aren't being captured because the changes are being driven by the task durations in the project template not changes made to the actual plannedcompletiondate. Due to Fusion scenarios we ha

When I have a requested issue come into the "Intake column" of my board I move it to the "In Progress" column.  Once converted to a project, I disconnect from the request project and connect to the live project to complete.  Once I do that, it duplicates the issue and puts one back in the Intake Column.

My company was migrated to Adobe Admin Console this past February. I am positive I had the ability to delete user accounts from our Workfront environment, at least until this morning. I had a counterpart add a new user but entered a misspelled email address. She re-entered the user into the Workfront user system with the proper email address and renamed the first incorrect account as "Delete lastname". When we both try to click on "permanantly delete" we get an error message the says: ERROR User deletion is not available. If you want to delete users please useAdobe IMS instead.The first incorrect account is not represented in the Admin Console. I reactivated the account and still see no way to "delete" just remove, which puts me in the same situation.I contacted support and was told this is all expected behaviour. So if we mistype an email address we just collect a group of "deactivated" user accounts that we can not delete from our systems like an Admin might want to do?Has anyone els

With another system outage/major access problems this morning, I'm going to start the conversation with our procurement team about how to get $$ back from Adobe given all the downtime and lost productivity that these problems have caused teams at my organization. I've been a system admin for Workfront for close to five years, and have never experienced as much inconsistency with access than I have in the last 6 months. Have others been successful in recuping money given actual down time being more than what the contract states we can tolerate? 

Hi, I am working on a task report and I want to remove tasks (filter them out) if the task has a specific predecessor on it. It filter seems to work well if the task has only 1 predecessor (the specific predecessor in question), but if the task has that specific predecessor and any additional predecessors, it is not filtering it out. In Workfront, the Templates we build for our teams tend to fall into two major categories. The first is the standard end-to-end workflow for every project type. These come pre-configured with many other settings/features to streamline creation and work management; standard folders, internal queue settings, custom forms etc. The second type of templates are setup as collections of ad-hoc tasks meant to be appended after a project is created for things that aren't done very often (custom legal approvals) or needed repetitively (extra client edit rounds).   The second template has minimal additional features, expecting the project they'll be added into already including them. Inevitably, someone creates fully new projects from them by mistake, and this creates reporting discrepancies and trouble tickets later. I have long wished for a way to block creation of new projects from those templates, while still allowing the person to append the tasks when needed.   With the implementa

I am trying to create a task report that ONLY pulls in the next milestone to be completed on a project. I have this report very close to where I need it but, it is currently pulling in every task with a milestone associated with it that's not complete - I only need the next milestone associate task that is incomplete.  The milestone view does not work for the desired finished report, a milestone report doesn't work due to filtering constraints, and our milestones are not all associated with the same task names across our projects.  Ultimately, what we're trying to achieve is a report that shows how many projects we have in each program that are currently in each milestone stage (ie, 3 projects currently in milestone 2, 6 projects currently in milestone 3, etc). 

I'm a novice when it comes to Project Finances inside of Workfront and the native reporting options available inside of Workfront. I'm hoping someone can help explain what date is being used in Workfront to pull an allocation date on a Project (Financial Data) report in regards to expenses. The allocation date is the only date option available for filters, views and groupings but it doesn't explicitly call this out anywhere on what it means in regards to expenses.    The documentation around this is rough and mainly speaks to budgeted hours - aka labor.   This is from the glossary of terms - which doesn't seem to lay it out specifically but I'm feeling like it's the planned date of expenses since the budgeted hours would also be "planned" hours. Hey folks, im trying to figure out if i can default settings to show ALL tasks in a project / template. Not just the 1st 100. when bulk updating stuff its mind numbingly frustrating to have to open all the projects then do this other step before editing. I thought maybe in Interface > Layout > Lists > Tasks, but i am stumped. 

I would like to create a new project view that defaults the sort order of the project list to be name.  It's possible for individual users to change the sort order of the current view to be by name but we want to default the sort order to be name as the default for a particular view.  Is there a way to do this?
