Did you find this Q4 update useful? Honestly, if we can't add custom columns, this feature doesn't really add much value, it just ends up confusing non-admin users. Columns toggle on/off was enough for native fields.and just curious, why is it called 'All Requests', wouldn't 'All Columns' make more sense? Am I missing something?

(There has been an opt-in opportunity over the past year, so I know some of you have already adopted.)   For those who have not yet adopted, my understanding is that Unified Approvals and Document Approvals are two different objects. The reports that you create for document approvals will not cease working immediately upon transition because for a while, you'll have two different types of document approvals in the system -- your new unified ones and your old doc approval ones. However, you will notice that new approvals will not show up on these reports.   With that in mind, I'd like to open up a discussion space below. Hey y'all I'm posing a question to the Community to help the plethora of newcomers I've met at recent Scale & WUG events lately: During your Workfront journey, what is the one thing you discovered that gave you an a-ha moment? 🤩   I've had a few in the past decade and will add mine to the comments below but I'm hoping we can make a this of gems for others to explore and discover earlier in their journey. This could be something really simple like an basic feature (boards view in a project) you didn't know about, or something truly advanced like collection reporting.

Hi All,when I create / update a Workfront record via the WF API, I am expected to set the values of custom fields. I wonder what is the best practice method for populating drop-down custom fields.I know that I can populate the field by providing the "value" of the custom field option, for example:{ "DE:.Region": "Global" }But then, if the value of the parameter option should change in the future, my integration would fail.Is it possible somehow to populate the custom field by providing the ID of the desired Parameter option (instead its value) to the API?Thank you,Tibor 

I built an approval workflow for issues, but am struggling to report on it. I don't want an issue status report, just a record of pending/in review/approved/rejected approval status that is not the issue status. I'm testing out the canvas dashboards but can't figure it out. The process we've built does not include converting to a project and ideally we would not want to create custom group level statuses. I've considered building a custom form calculation to pull the approval status only, but not sure where to start with that either. We can do fusion but are under a time crunch so any ideas would be helpful!

HelloWe just switched to the new approvals and we have a ton of external users - am I seeing this right, that if they are Approvers, no proofing tool but they get the approval buttons.  If they are Reviewers then they get access to the proofing tool. Huh??? Why no proofing tool for approvers?!?!Help! I can't seem to find any documentation.

Hello, I would like to find a way to send out email reminders to update their project to designated groups, preferably one to me/my team and the one person/team that is currently assigned and working on the project. I would like to have this email be sent out 2 weeks before the expected due date on the project is. I was currently investigating and looking around to see if this is possible but failed in my research. Is this kind of process a possibility on workfront? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Before unified approvals became a thing, we used to be able run reports showing assigned approvals that any user could run for themselves using the $$USER.ID wild card. Now, the only place that assigned approvals are listed is the home page and I haven't been able to figure out how to create a report similar to the one we used to use. I would be willing to switch to using the home page but, as someone managing a team with assigned tasks, I can't filter tasks by working group on the home page. I'm left with having to use a custom dashboard / report to manage tasks and issues, and the home screen to manage approvals. Is there a way to create a report that could be added to my custom dashboard and list all of my assigned approvals?

Hi, I know you can create a parameter report to list all reports a field is being used on.  1. Does this mean the field is in the filter or the view (or column)? 2. Has anyone been able to create a report to list filters a field is being used on? I have tried combinations between an API call or even the Data Lake to see if I can pull data.  Curious if anyone got close to this?

Is anyone experiencing any issues with your users logging their time off?  Here is what our users are experiencing: User goes to put time in October 13-17, and then they go put time in December for 8-12. When they do that, the time the put in for October disappears?

If you are in a large company where different departments separately purchased products that each group manages separately, and you all enable SSO for your products, how has your Workfront migration gone or how is it going? Our migration to SSO has been fraught - to put it mildly -  as the architecture of the Admin console places some serious limitations on our ability to manage our sensitive Workfront information independently --- far from the prying eyes of unrelated departments with whom we're suddenly forced to share the console.  I've already created a related submission under the Ideas forum, so I won't re-hash everything, but if you are experiencing similar pains at your company, I ask that you cast a "Like" for my idea in order for it to gain traction and help others who still have to complete their migration. Hi Folks,   Today, Adobe Workfront shared this announcement upon login:     We first learned of the upcoming change a couple of weeks ago (then, cited less precisely as "Sept 2025"), so have been working furiously to upgrade all of our solutions, and were delighted to make a similar announcement today in response:     As Workront's oldest partner, we had vestigial references going back to API v2.0 all the way up to current (v20.0), and as we tackled this upgrade, had to decide whether to:   use the "Latest" API by NOT specifying a version and instead "roll with it" whenever the official Latest version changes (so less maintenance, but more risk), or use the specific "v20.0" latest version to "lock in" that functionality, recognizing that someday the code will need to then be upgraded (deferred maintenance) We decided to go with the latter, and have teed up our tech stack to make future such transitions less onerous, but I am curious what others ar

Is there anyway to show the email address in a typeahead custom field instead of the user name?Even though when typing in a user, the email adress is visible, I need the populated field to show the email address, not the name in the submitted request form.Or, can this be done using calculated fields?
