I'm creating timeline views in Workfront planning and realized there is no option to show events based on singular dates. It always asks for a start and end date. I want to show events based on one date and create a deployment timeline. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can get around this limitation

I recently used WF Data connect and setup a reader account on Snowflake. We are making an API call to the snowflake tables to get Custom project data. The problem we are facing is that the changes we do on custom form dropdown options do net get retroactively updated on the snowflake table.  For e.g. on the project level, there is a Custom dropdown field "Region" with the following dropdown options - "APAC" , "EMEA", "Americas"Let's say we changed the option "APAC" to "APAC and NZ". In Workfront, this will mean that all the projects with the option "APAC" selected will update to "APAC and NZ" automatically.However, the snowflake table does not consider this change and reflects "APAC" for any projects where this field was filled prior to the change. Am I missing something? - Rowvill

I would be curious to hear everyone's journey on setting up an effective Workfront Planning workspace(s) and record types for their specific use case. Type in :Use case - Basically why and how are you using Workfront Planning.Limitations - What are some limitations of Workfront Planning that are causing heartburn.

So, I logged into Workfront this morning and I was greeted to this:Oh wait, sorry, that wasn't it. It looked more like this:Now. We have begged Adobe, through our TAM, our CSM, and other acronyms to stop sending surveys to our users. And this one...I'm really hoping it only went to admins. I took the survey only so I could get to the end so I could say "STOP SENDING OUR USERS SURVEYS."The questions had NOTHING to do with a typical user's day-to-day use of the tool. It had more to do with config and the like. Is there any way to know the scope of this pointless survey? I pray that it was only sent to sysadmins...but similar surveys have been sent out to our entire user base in the past.The typical response is that your marketing department needs this data. I'm sorry, but no. If you really want to run surveys, it should NOT be within the tool that my company pays a huge amount of money to use. And if you're sending a survey to everyone, the data is going to be garbage.And

Reviewing the exchange rate ability in Workfront for the first time and trying to consider how often we should update... Yearly? Quarterly? Because this is not tied to date ranges I assume it is adjusting the rates for all projects even in the prior year / quarter either way. Is there another way to solve this through custom fields that are tied alongside date ranges?  Thanks in advance for sharing your successes!

Unless I'm losing my mind...and that is a good possibility that I am...Didn't the Parent tasks under Hours have information from the Child tasks that roll up?This Parent Tasks has Children Tasks from #12-103I know I used to be able to click on the Parent Task, go to the Hours Tab and Group by Hour Entry by Week, Month, etc. to pull the info I need.Something has changed. I also have a Parent/Task report that is no longer working. I do have a ticket in for this and the report that is not working.

Is anyone experiencing your Workfront instance not loading? Our team has cleared our cache & cookies, tested different browsers, checked firewalls with our IT Help Desk, had associates check on their personal computers and still won't load. We are met with a white screen. The only device that is working is the browser on our phones. This is affecting both PC & MAC users. The good news is it's only affecting a small number of our team, but of course they are in critical roles. I've opened a support ticket last Thursday, but response time has been unbelievably slow. I'd appreciate any productive thoughts. Thank you!

Hi,I have created a project report and we are wanting to have a couple columns to view 2 things; when a first proof was posted to the project; and a calculated time from the original request submitted to the date of 1st proof.Is this possible with built in time markers or do we need to create calculated fields in the form for this to work? Thank you!

Good morning,I've been reading several articles this morning and feeling a bit lost on the report type and how to build a report to allow project owners to see the pending proof approvals in current and on hold projects they own. Seems like a Proof Approval report is the way to go but then it's challenging to get the filtering to only show proofs in projects the logged in user owns plus group those results by the project. Seemed like a Document report would work better and this long post, Solved: Proof Approval Reporting Examples - Adobe Experience League Community - 539604, is a document version report and I do see some text mode in it but it does note to contact someone to get the text mode. Any insights would help. Thanks!Mary

I want to understand the limitation of creating assignments under a single task

HelloI am using External Lookup to dynamically display options in the Tech Platforms field. However, the lookup works correctly only when a single value is entered in the Domain Lines field. It shows no results when multiple values are inserted (screenshots below). Is there a way to make it work with multiple values selected?1) Single selection:2) Multi Selection:I understand that multi-select returns an array which cannot be used as a dependency. Before this update, the Approvals widget used to show a timesheet date range that linked directly to the actual timesheet. Now, after this update, the date range hyperlink is gone, and users can't view the timesheets. They can only Approve or Reject. Can we please get the date range hyperlink back? @jerflo, could you please take a look?

Anyone know how to show the date a proof was uploaded to a project in a Project Report? I'm sure I can use a different report, but my entire team uses the same project report and it would be great to not have them checking two reports all the time.

Hello,I am having trouble creating a column in my task report that displays all the child tasks along with their statuses.At the moment the report shows a bunch of parent tasks (number of child tasks != 0). I'd like it to have a column that shows a list of all associated child tasks and the current status of each one (see the mockup below). I have tried several text mode codes but none have worked so far. Any help would be highly appreciated.  Thank you!

I have created a custom form for inputting data to a project called Milestones. I added all the fields to collect the information needed to be entered. I want users to be able to import the information into this form, so they don't have to do it multiple times for the same information. Meaning they may have 15 milestones and I want them to use an Excel file to import them into this form. Is that possible?  

I have tried for a few days and cannot figure this out.  I tried via a project, task and custom form report unsuccessful.  I entered a support ticket and was told to use a custom form report but can't figure it out and waiting for support. Anybody willing to share text mode from custom form report to pull project, tasks and all custom form names attached to each task.  The goal is to see on a project, the names of all/each of the custom forms attached to each one. Very appreciated in advance!David
