Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hi,  I would like to know what is the difference in latency / delay between Audience Qualification / creating event in AJO while creating journeys?I would like to compare streaming / edge segments to events created in AJO. What different use-cases use for that two features?  Thanks

Hi All,  I am creating a url tracking parameters in Channel surface and want to add the email message id/message name. Is it possible at channel surface level?  I can see in the documentation. (Configure email settings | Adobe Journey Optimizer)The following predefined values are available through the Expression Editor:Source action id: ID of the Email action added to the journey or campaign. But this just gives me the campaign action id and not the message id. How can I add message information at channel surface level. ThanksPreeti

Hi there, I have set up an event to listen to an ExperienceEvent dataset. For testing, I uploaded 5 records into the ExperienceEvent dataset via the Workflow UI, and the data was ingested successfully. However, I don't see any profiles triggering the journey even though it's published, fits all the event criteria.  Will this method not work? Thanks.

Hi there, We are working on a feedback loop to our corporate communication history for communications (push, email, sms etc.) sent out from AJO. Using an example customer, we have two levels of customer identities (CRM1 - Web login account, CRM2 - billing accounts). It will be always be a 1:M  relationship (Web login will have multiple billing accounts). For example, customer has 1 web login, which has access to 4 billing accounts.  As part of the feedback loop, we need to send a communication record to all 4 billing accounts so that it's recorded under whichever Billing Account we look up to. Unfortunately AJO works at a profile level, so by default it would only send 1 record. We cannot make any process modification on the downstream end, so the 1 to 4 split would need to happen at AJO side. Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Hello,  We are working towards AJO – Target integration and got stuck at step 3 in the below documentation. Could you please suggest us with pre requisites/ documentation to proceed with next steps. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/integrate/ajo/offer-decision.html?lang=en In Target we were able to view Offer Decision (New) button in the below screen print.Upon clicking on (1) ,nothing happens. Document says we should see step 3 , but nothing shows up.FYI..We did create Offers, Placements and activated within AJO. Please suggest if we are missing any tasks to view step 3.

Hello,   I am trying to test simple journey in AJO in Test Mode but do not see any activity. Below are the steps I performed:    Created a Journey with AJO, with 1) Read Audience  2) Custom Action to Salesforce Marketing Cloud .   Created test audience as per  the documentation.   Verified Test Audience at Profile Level.   Clicked  ' Trigger Profile Entrance '  button in test Profile.    In Trigger profile entrance pop up , entered 'Email' in Profile identifier. Clicked Send.    In Test Mode , 'Profile was triggered successfully'  is displayed. But Nothing Happens. Log Does not shown anything. Could you please suggest how to proceed from here? How can I test the journey step by step? These are fields I gave in test Profile.: Person ID Email Address First Name Last Name testProfile Please suggest!

How do we configure a journey so it will run on 2nd Thursday of each month??

Hi there, Multiple questions here as I am trying to enable a use case leveraging Google Pubsub.  1) We have a single PubSub topic and subscription that contains the data we need, but we need the data to be stored in an ExperienceEvent dataset to enable real-time notifications in AJO. AND we also need the same dataset in Profile Attributes to be used for targeting. Attempted Solution:I tried creating two Accounts (not using the same account) under Google PubSub Source subscribing to the same PubSub topic & subscription, each targeting an IndividualProfile & ExperienceEvent dataset. The result from our test is that say we push 10 records into the Pubsub Subscription, the 10 rows would only either get ingested into the IndividualProfile dataset OR ExperienceEvent dataset, is this by design? My goal is to have the same data populated into both datasets as the data comes in. 2nd Question:The data coming in contains a collection/array&nbsp

Can we send email to the recipients who do not have AEP Profiles but their data is stored in a csv file? Is there a way that we can extract data from that csv file and send emails? Note: There is a Healthcare/Security shield in the sandbox.

In the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing, email remains a cornerstone of communication between brands and customers. However, ensuring that emails reach their intended recipients can be challenging amidst stringent spam filters and evolving authentication protocols. One essential practice to optimize email deliverability is the strategic use of subdomain delegation and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) configurations. In this blog, I'll walk through the process of setting up email channel configurations through subdomain delegation, DMARC configurations, IP pool, and email channel surface creation, highlighting their importance and benefits.   Step 1: Educating the Client Before diving into the technical aspects, it's crucial to educate clients on the significance of subdomain delegation and DMARC configurations.   Full Subdomain delegation in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) is like granting Adobe authorization to oversee a speci

Hi all,  Our client is currently sending out marketing emails using Adobe Campaign, but they'll be switching to AJO soon. They already have a domain that they're currently using in Campaign. Can they re-use the same domain in AJO as well, or would they need a new domain for AJO? Thanks

I need to get Campaign Technical Details to get the campaign ID and other values - like message ID. Is it possible to get some kind of values as we do in Journeys?

Hi,I would like to understand what is the difference between the "Invalid Recipient" bounce reason and "Invalid Email Address" error reason which appears in the report?About the discarded profiles, how and where can we see the reasons for certain profiles to be discarded from the journey? Is there a way that we can see the reasons of suppressions of the profiles in a journey report?

Hi,  Is there any feature in AJO which takes into account customer profile from AEP, ctr, open rates and recommends which outbound channel to use in order to contact customer?  Thanks

Hi All,I'm currently setting up custom actions in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to send profile attribute details to an external API. However, I need assistance with creating an Audience to exclude members to whom I've already sent data on the same day. Additionally, I plan to use this Audience as entry criteria for the journey. Can I exclude members in the Audience? I didn't see any events happening in the profile after the profile details are sent via custom action, which is why I'm a little confused here. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,  if we want to send an email only once to a user being part of a segment (only the first email will be a welcome, then he will receive other communications) allow re-entrance disabled is not the right way i suppose.  how could we do? we can use a param in the condition to check if he entered the journey and already received the mail?  thanks

Hi there, can we update profile data by using APIs in AEP?if yes, can you please provide related docs?for example, I have a profile and want to update an attribute's value of the profile. "profile": {                "person": {                    "name": {                        "courtesyTitle": "Mr.",                        "firstName": "Vivek",                       }                 }}I assume that it should be done by merge policy but it seems it's not working somehow.

Hi, Can someone please help me understand how opt-outs are performed when using Twilio for AJO? The documentation says that Native keywords are only available for Sinch and Infobip, so how would someone opt-out in the event we use Twilio? Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to reference an expression fragment in the custom action request payload source. Aim is to pass the fragment through API. Can anyone help me with this?
