Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hello,We are looking into using content fragments together with AJO. We found a lot of documentation including a step by step of how to do this in the community here. The content fragment seems to be a reference, since it can also be edited directly from AJO but the documentation states that it is imported here.My question is : is it imported or a reference to the AEM platform ? If it is a reference, does each call to a content fragment count as a content request on the AEM sites licence ?If it is imported, how is the update managed ?Thanks in advance !

Hi All, Currently I'm looking into one use cases which is simply lets call it event based offers but while reading Adobe docs noticed that is not supported [1] due to offer decisioning limitation :(.Yea, I know that due to fact that events are not stored on Edge therefore events based offers cannot be done, so all these rules should be profile based ... and this is exactly the problem. Example use case:User is trying to add XYZ product to get free delivery or adding multiple products (XYZ + ZYX + YYY) to have discount, all these need to be executed between step 1 and step 2 of basket/transaction closing but we can not freeze/pause any of the steps or processing esp. if takes too long ...etc.  In this case please advise if there is any way to workaround for such limitation of Offer Decisioning to accomplish such scenario? [1] - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/decisioning/offer-decisioning/create-components/creati

I'm currently in the process of integrating a web channel into our AJO implementation. Following the guidelines outlined in the 'Web Channel Prerequisites' documentation, I have successfully configured the web SDK. To test this setup, I've been utilizing Adobe's provided Luma enablement site and injecting tag scripts using a debugger. I've accomplished creating an audience using the edge segment evaluation method, and I can confirm that data is flowing from the website into the AEP datasets, with profiles being successfully added to this audience. However, when I attempt to use this audience in a web campaign with the debugger enabled for the site, I'm not observing the expected changes on the website page as specified in the web campaign configuration. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter and any insights you may have regarding any steps or details I might be overlooking ThanksSankar

I created two schemas: Customer (XDM Individual Profile) with an attribute called Booking ID (Non-Person Identity Name Space) and Booking (using a Custom Class also named Booking) with the Booking ID (Non-Person Identity Name Space) as the primary identity. I also established a one-to-one relationship between the Customer (Source Schema) and the Booking (Destination Schema) based on Booking ID. Created Datasets and enabled profiles. After ingesting the data into the datasets, I was able to view the profile, but no Destination Schema Attributes were visible. My reference was Define a Relationship Between Two Schemas Using the Schema Editor | Adobe Experience Platform So far, I have been able to create an audience using the Destination Schema Attributes, but I need to utilize them in Personalization. In another post, I'm trying to use dataset Lookup: Personalization error when using datasetLookup in ... - Adobe Experience League Community - 778968 

 Hi all, I'm trying to use a Filter Expression as a Journey Condition in Adobe Journey Optimizer. I want to compare now() (or nowWithDelta()) with a profile date field, like this (anonymized paths):  now() < #{ProfileGroup.profile.campaign.expiry_date} But I get the error: The expression is invalid: The expression has not a valid structure Observations:now() returns dateTime and the profile field is date.Using toDateOnly(now()) or toDateTime(toString(...)) also fails.Helper functions like toDateOnly() appear in the editor but are not highlighted in this context.Other users seem to be able to use similar expressions in journey conditions.Question:Is there a supported way to compare now() or nowWithDelta() with a date profile field directly in a Journey Condition Filter Expression without creating a calculated attribute or modifying the schema?CC: @mohan_dugganab @satheeskannak 

The journey is triggered by a custom unitary event, the idea is to limit the volume of profiles to receive specific communications. Therefore, I want to place a profile cap condition (or a percentage split) to separate the profiles and make them advance to the correct email comm. However, I see in the documentation that to be able to test this conditions the only way to do it is with at least 1000 profiles... Note: I've tested using profile cap = 1 as condition to move to alternative path when reaching the limit but the behaviour has been nothing but accurate (works sometimes but not always).1. Is this accurate or I'm missunderstanding something here?2. How would you test the described scenario? Appreciate any help on your end. CC: @Mayank_Gandhi @SatheeskannaK

Hi team, Does anyone have experience with executing CTV marketing campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)?

Dear Community I would like to ask for the best recommendations using AJO for my client requirement. So in AEP, I created two schema, Individual Profile Class, and ExperienceEvent Class. What I want to achieve is creating an Audience in AEP, then using AJO to send ExperienceEvents field to Kafka. The limitation here is that the client only has Prime License.  Currently, my AJO journey logic is attached below. During the wait activity, I configured to be 120s. This causes the Journey to work as it should be. However, I need the latency to be lower. When the Wait activity is changed to 60s, the Journey did not work. My Audience is triggered using ExperienceEvent data. However, when an ExperienceEvent is being ingested, there are some delays until the associated profile is being included in the Audience Membership. My question is that what would be the shortest wait time I could configure to ensure that the associated profile is included in the Audience as soon as

If I delete an audience used for a one-time batch send, besides it missing from the campaign/journey, will it have any downstream effect when it comes to reporting, tracking logs or message logs? I believe I know the answer, but want to confirm.

Currently, I have created and Audience, which is then ready to be used, then creating a Unitary Event. I create a Unitary Event because this allows me to select ExperienceEvent fields to map with the Custom Action. In test mode (Only has Unitary Event and Custom Action in the Canvas) I was able to get the notification that the test data is successfully sent and was able to see the data in the notification (it was sent to my phone). However, after publishing it, I could not get the Journey to work, sometimes

HI All,I was able to render emoji's in the email using unicode or direct copy paste. But when checking on rendering for different clients. Most of the clients support and I can see the emoji's but few like outlook on specific versions were only rendering gray scale versions of emoji's.Is there a way to render them with colors or since that is out of AJO scope and outlook is the one finally deciding it, It will not render.AI response -Outlook on Windows (Classic): Emojis in subject lines are rendered in grayscale. How do we manage opt-out using AJO (not external opt-out) when there are multiple brands ? The one-click optout or optout using landing page automatically updates the global opt-out - consents.marketing.email.val which will opts out the user from all communication(irrespective of brands). How can we override this to optout out of specific brands ?

Is it something like that possible to sent to email address which is not marked as identity?

Its not possible to change email address in the event journey as I see... Is that right?

Quick question regarding Wait activity. I asked the AI Assistant but got somewhat conflicting answers.When there is a 3 day Wait activity after an In-app Message action, does the 3 day wait start immediately when the visitor reaches the In-app Message Action step of the Journey or does the wait time only start after the visitor actually triggers the In-app message to be seen? In the example attached, if a visitor get’s to the In-app message activity step of the Journey but never triggers the message, will the Journey end for that profile after 3 days if the visitor never meets the trigger conditions? If the Wait activity is removed altogether, does the Journey end immediately after the visitor reaches the In-app message step or only after triggering the in-app message to display? My assumption here is that the 3-day Wait timer starts upon reaching the In-app message activity step in the Journey and gives the visitor 3 days to trigger the message before the Journey ends. If so

Hi, could enabling the Create New Profiles option explain some of the delays in email sending? I’m currently experiencing delays when sending transactional emails with this setting turned on.

Could you please give an example for Streaming Audience /Batch Audience/Edge Audience how are they categorized while selecting under Audience section of AJO, what are the parameters that are considered to segregate the audience into 3 different types?
