Adobe Experience Manager Edge Delivery Services

We’re currently facing an issue where we need to continue collecting user data while disabling third-party cookies for users who opt out. However, Adobe Web SDK’s thirdPartyCookiesEnabled setting can only be configured before Alloy is initialized. Although the Web SDK provides a setConsent command when using defaultConsent“pending” that allows us to update consent for data collection, it does not allow us to change the third-party cookie setting after initialization. As a result, setting collect to "y" can still trigger a Demdex request that retrieves the user’s CORE ID from Adobe Audience Manager, even when the user has opted out of third-party cookies. I’d like to be able to pass another flag to disable third party cookies with the setConsent command. Otherwise, we would need to wait for consent before alloy initialization, which defeats the purpose of the defaultConsent: “pending” flag.

I logged in da.live as I did it 1 year ago I do not see sites, I cannot manage config and permissions All people from the org has the same issues It was working some time ago

I am not able to access my access token to make the configuration of Bring your own git. I want to work with github enterprise which is from my organization. This is the error I am getting

I have added the RTE plugins to my project; however, the Text Color and Typography Style options are not being applied to the selected text while working in AEM EDS Universal Editor.Additionally, these plugins are not visible in blocks that contain child blocks. If the parent block requires these RTE plugins, they are currently not appearing, which prevents authors from using the configured functionality within the parent block.Could you please check and help identify the cause of this issue?

Most AEM Cloud Service discussion is about authoring and AI. The 2026 release notes also changed the DevOps and delivery side: build pipelines, secrets, observability, and the CDN layer. Below, each item is labeled by status (GA vs Beta), because several of the interesting ones are still Beta.Shipped as GA in 20261. Managed secrets in configuration pipelines (Cloud Manager 2026.1.0, Jan 22, 2026). You can add and manage secrets directly in Cloud Manager configuration pipelines. These override config values for environment-specific deployments, so you don't have to keep per-environment secrets in the repo or hand-set them. The same item also appears in the 2026.2.0 notes.2. AEM Edge Functions (listed as GA in the AEM CS 2026.8.0 notes). These run JavaScript at the Adobe-managed CDN, which Adobe positions as a way to reduce latency for personalization and dynamic content delivery. Check the current status in Adobe's docs before you plan around it. A search summary I saw elsewhere describ

Has anyone Started their EDS implementation with the DA boilerplate and later realised they should have used the xwalk boilerplate for UE and then tried to retrofit the first with the second…Im running into an issue where my preview/live pages are hitting the following error: (404) Unable to fetch /index.md from html2md.I’ve set the content source to the correct /bin/franklin.delivery/amp-digital-aem/amp-eds/main/ path in my AEM environment. I’ve installed the UE template into the same environment. (althought the template did not include a ‘configuration’ page). My paths.json:{  "mappings": [    "/content/amp-eds/:/",    "/content/amp-eds/configuration:/.helix/config.json"  ],  "includes": [    "/content/amp-eds/"  ]}My config is also missing:content.source.suffix = .html  Im unsure how to add this. any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Context: We run an AEM Edge Delivery Services site (repoless, Configuration Service; content authored in AEM). Sitemaps are generated by helix-sitemap. We push the sitemap config to content/sitemap.yaml via the Admin API and generate per-language sitemaps. Multilingual: es, en, pt, fr.What we've confirmed: Per-language <urlset> generation works via a languages map with source: /{lang}/query-index.json. <lastmod> is emitted when we add a lastmod format to the config. We could not find any way to emit <priority> or <changefreq> per URL, and we don't see them in the config schema. helix-sitemap doesn't appear to generate a <sitemapindex> for multilingual — only the per-language <urlset> files. Questions: Supported per-URL attributes: What sitemap attributes can helix-sitemap emit per URL (<loc>, <lastmod>, <changefreq>, <priority>, hreflang alternates)? Is there a definitive list? priority / changefreq: Is there ANY suppo

Hi , I am currently learning EDS and wanted to get hands on repoless. Iread that it needs admin key and api access to configure the repoless. Is there any way that we can do some hands-on on our own without using organisational keys?

Hi, Not showing the create site from template option in the AEM trial version for EDS setup. Can anyone help me on this

Hi, Can anyone please help me how to implement the MSM with step by step and also the workflow with approval steps to publish with AEM, EDS and universal editor. Also need to add the seo metadata as part of the page. Thanks,Kalyan

Hi everyone,I am currently working on an EDS Xwalk project. According to the following Adobe documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/universal-editor/field-types#rich-text https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/universal-editor/configure-rte The RTE should support features such as indentation and image insertion. However, in our actual Xwalk project, these options do not appear in the toolbar. Our users need to use tables and images within the rich text field. Does the Xwalk project currently lack support for these features?Additionally, is there any detailed documentation, component definitions, or specifications specifically for Xwalk? Most of the resources we found so far seem to focus primarily on DA (Document Authoring). [Official Documentation Screenshot][Actual UI Screenshot]

I’m looking for some guidance on a requirement we are currently working on in an Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) / Universal Editor (Franklin) implementation.RequirementWe need to assign a unique and persistent identifier to every component instance on a page and use that identifier as a tracking attribute for Adobe Analytics.Example:Multiple instances of the same component can exist on a page. The identifier should remain unchanged even if the author reorders, moves, or updates the component. The identifier should ideally persist for the lifetime of that specific component instance. What We Have ExploredWe have evaluated multiple options, including: Generating UUIDs/random IDs in block JavaScript during rendering. Drawback: IDs are regenerated on page refresh and are not persistent. Generating IDs based on page structure, component sequence, or position. Drawback: IDs change when authors reorder or move components. Adding a hidden component-id field to the component model and at

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on setting up an Edge Delivery Services (EDS) site using an Adobe repository and would appreciate some guidance. My goal is to: Set up a new EDS project using the official Adobe repository Configure the required integrations to create and load the website using AEM Sites authoring Create pipelines, deploy the site, and preview content I’ve gone through the documentation, but most of the references are based on using a public GitHub repository. In my case, I’m working with a private repository (Adobe repo). At the moment, I’m facing an issue with site ownership verification. Even after adding the required verification file, the verification is not successful. Currently, my repository only contains this verification file and does not yet include files like fstab.yaml or other standard EDS configuration files. It would be really helpful to understand the correct approach for private repository setups, EDS site creation, especially around ownership verifi

Hi team, I was following the Adobe EDS implementation steps.I had forked the xwalk repo from last release version 0.2.0 In this paths.json has been deprecated and xwalk.json is introduced. This new release is not working for me.I have correctly setup the site using site-template from xwalk release page. And then configured AEM code sync as well for my repo.In my repo I have correctly setup the mount point as that of my dev author.fstab.yamlmountpoints: /: url: "https://{dev-author-domain}.adobeaemcloud.com//bin/franklin.delivery/pulkit-vashistha/aem-eds-demo/main" type: "markup" suffix: ".html"x-walk.json{ "public": { "xwalk": { "multi-field": { "enabled": true } } }}But when I publish the page from AEM author to preview or liveI have unable to view my page at https://main--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page/ or https://main--{repo}--{owner}.aem.live/It shows 404 page not found. When I click on update in AEM sidebar , I still see the original adobe x-w

I created a new DA Live project following the tutorial, Project seems OK. I can:Edit pages Preview and Publish Activated the code sync and that workedThe problem is I can’t manage anything on https://tools.aem.live/ I get 403 for pretty much all calls. In Universal Editor, when trying to align text in Rich Text field by using default alignment option (left, center, right), it only adds inline style. Upon saving changes and exiting out of RTE, all inline styles are removed.I want to have per-paragraph alignment option within a rich text field so didn’t do this through custom model field. Any fix for this? Like adding a class instead of inline styling so this can actually work?

I see a OOTB response header for EDS pages - Vary: Accept-Encoding,X-Forwarded-Host, is there a way to edit the values present in this header?

Can we have add-on Adobe Workfront plugin/extension for AEM Universal Editor UI to show Adobe Workfront task/assignment context directly inside the AEM Universal Editor UI so authors can see:assigned tasks approval status due dates project metadata workflow state

Hi Team ,We are trying to enable the “Open in new tab / Same tab” option in the Universal Editor RTE hyperlink dialog for the EDS Franklin text component (core/franklin/components/text/v1/text). We added the following configuration based on Adobe documentation:"rte": { "plugins": { "link": { "features": { "target": true } } }, "actions": { "link": { "hideTarget": false } } }However, the hyperlink dialog still only shows:Text Path or URL Titleand the target selection option is not displayed. Could you please confirm whether link target selection is currently supported for the Franklin text component in Universal Editor, or if any additional configuration/customization is required?Thanks.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/universal-editor/configure-rte

Hi everyone,We are currently working with Edge Delivery Services using AEM Authoring as the content source (spreadsheet-based publishing flow). We noticed that after publishing a spreadsheet and generating the corresponding JSON, French accented characters are being replaced by the Unicode replacement character ().Example:Aller simple partir deinstead ofAller simple à partir deWhat we validated so far:Spreadsheet content inside AEM Authoring looks correct Source content is UTF-8 encoded Frontend rendering path is correct Generated JSON already contains the replacement characterThis makes us think the issue may happen somewhere in the spreadsheet → JSON publishing pipeline, possibly related to charset handling during transformation.Has anyone experienced something similar when using EDS with AEM Authoring and spreadsheet-based content? Are there any known encoding considerations, charset configurations, or best practices we should review? Thanks in advance!

How to set up the storefront for Adobe commerce as a cloud service?

Hi everyone,I’m working with AEM + Universal Editor + Edge Delivery Services. Is there a way to display a custom name per block instance in the Content Tree, based on a model field (e.g., authorLabel)?I want authors to label blocks like “Hero – Home” or “Hero – Campaign” and see that in the tree, instead of just the default component name.Is this supported or is there any extension point to achieve it?Thanks!

Hello,I'm currently working on a project using X-walk and the Universal Editor and have a question regarding how sheets are handled.Does the Experience Delivery Service (EDS) support only one sheet per type (e.g., taxonomy, metadata) for an entire project? When I try to create mappings for a second sheet of a specific type (for example, a second metadata sheet named metadata2 or a second taxonomy sheet), publishing it to the EDS fails to generate a json file, resulting in a 404 error.I’ve also read in the documentation that using a shared- prefix might be a solution, but this approach does not seem to work with X-walk either. If X-walk projects are indeed limited to a single sheet per type, is there another recommended approach to implement page-specific sheets within the EDS? Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide!

I am currently working on the Universal Editor and xwalk projects.Based on the official documentation at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-edge-delivery/using/build/indexing and https://www.aem.live/docs/indexing-reference, I expected to retrieve the showbreadcrumb metadata from the pages by adjusting the helix-query.yaml file.version: 1indices: pages: include: - '/**' exclude: - '/**.json' target: /query-index.json properties: lastModified: select: none value: parseTimestamp(headers["last-modified"], "ddd, DD MMM YYYY hh:mm:ss GMT") robots: select: head > meta[name="robots"] value: attribute(el, "content") title: select: head > title value: textContent(el) showbreadcrumb: select: head > meta[name="showbreadcrumb"] value: attribute(el, "content")However, the returned results still only contain the lastModified, robots, and path fields from before the m
