creating the workflow for aem eds with universal editor with approval steps and publish along with MSM

Hi,

 

Can anyone please help me how to implement the MSM with step by step and also the workflow with approval steps to publish with AEM, EDS and universal editor.

 

Also need to add the seo metadata as part of the page.

Edge Delivery Services does not provide built-in, native content approval workflows inside the Universal Editor. You can utilize workflows available for AEM Sites or create one as per your requirement.

For running any workflow on your EDS pages you need to first enable AEM Workflows Extension for universal editor from Extension Manager.

Launch “Start Workflow” console
 
Start workflow

AEM with Universal Editor and EDS can be implemented with MSM and approval workflows.  

  • Configure the Blueprint and Live Copies in AEM Sites.
  • Use the Universal Editor Workflows Extension to start an AEM approval workflow.
  • After approval, publish the content to EDS Preview/Live. Automatic publishing after approval requires custom workflow integration and should not be assumed as OOTB.
  • Add SEO fields through the AEM page metadata/Page Properties model and map them to the EDS page <head>.

The exact steps depend on your AEM version, MSM structure, and publishing setup.
