Adobe Experience Manager Assets

A deadline isn’t a design. It’s a value, and a countdown timer lets you treat it that way. With a countdown timer in AEM Dynamic Media Template, marketers can add a live countdown directly to campaign creative. Instead of producing a new asset whenever a deadline changes, teams can build a template and adapt its timing and message for different campaigns. The value extends beyond urgency. Countdown timers bring relevance, personalization, and scalable content production together—while helping each recipient see a message that reflects the campaign moment when the content is opened.  What is a Countdown Timer in AEM Dynamic Media Template?A countdown timer is a configurable layer within a Dynamic Media Template. Like image, text, and shape layers, it can be positioned and styled as part of the overall creative:Appearance: font, size, color, opacity, alignment, and position. Time units: days, hours, minutes, and seconds, with labels and separators that fit your layout. End time: the deadli

I am from AEM Dynamic Media team and I help customers get more measurable value from Dynamic Media: faster experiences, assets that work harder across channels, and a clearer view of what happens after content goes live. One simple self-service report has become especially useful in those conversations. It is the Dynamic Media delivery report. If you use AEM as a Cloud Service with a Dynamic Media license, you can generate and download the report yourself. The visibility gap of asset activationWe often hear customers say that once an asset leaves the DAM, visibility becomes fragmented. We know what we created and published, but we do not always know which assets are receiving the most delivery, which channels are consuming them, or how that consumption varies across markets. The Dynamic Media delivery report helps reconnect that last mile.To keep this conversation practical, I stepped into the shoes of a growth marketer at a fictional fashion retailer, “Luma Retail”. I used one month o

AEM Assets Content Hub serves as a centralised distribution hub for brand assets across marketing teams, agencies, and partners. It delivers fast search, curated collections, and governed asset delivery at scale. This blog explores how Content Hub’s extensibility model, powered by Adobe App Builder, enables organisations to embed custom workflows directly into the asset distribution experience. We’ll outline the business challenges and explain how extensibility works. Business Problem: Last-Mile Workflows in Content Hub For many organisations, Content Hub has become the go‑to portal for accessing brand assets across internal teams and external partners. While it excels at asset discovery and delivery, the “last mile” of work often happens outside the platform. Once an asset is found or downloaded, critical follow-up actions typically occur in disconnected systems, such as:  Task and ticket creation in project management or IT systems  Approvals in separate review tools  Rights and us

Video is central to how organisations engage their audiences—personalised, accessible, and consistent across devices, channels, and regions. Adobe Experience Manager gives teams two ways to power those experiences: the proven Dynamic Media (Scene7) platform that thousands of organisations rely on every day, and Dynamic Media with OpenAPI, our API-first architecture for teams who want lightweight integrations and composable, developer-friendly workflows. Both are first-class parts of the Dynamic Media family, and we continue to invest in both. Which one a team chooses should come down to the architecture and integration model that fits them best—not a trade-off in what their content can do.That’s why this milestone matters. Over the past year, we’ve been bringing the rich video capabilities customers trust in Dynamic Media to the OpenAPI architecture. Today, we’re excited to share that core enterprise video capabilities have reached feature parity on Dynamic Media with OpenAPI.Rich Video

Hello awesome community guys, I found one missing tool in AEM MCP arsenal. Ended writing a custom mcp server that runs on AIO AppBuilder as runtime action.Explained here https://medium.com/@bsaravanaprakash/one-missing-tool-in-aem-mcp-registry-and-how-to-build-it-on-aio-902cc13b1afaWith this learnt experience, I quickly identified couple more tools usecases on my custom mcp server.Optimized product image search - tool will first hit PIM to resolve to more accurate tags and then hits DAM querying customized tags. Returns accurate product images Taxonomy Resolver - our DAM is massive (3.4M) and taxonomy follows rules. freetext image search mostly timesout due to volume. So custom tool, that runs taxonomy rules, narrows dam folder path and then run Adobe MCP asset search using querybuilder.  Is there any more usecases you are able to find? Tool example, that is difficult with Adobe MCP registry, and qualifies for its own custom server?  Please do share, ready to flex my muscles.

As a Principal Product Manager on Adobe’s Digital Employee Experience team, I focus on understanding and meeting enterprise content needs across Adobe—using Adobe products to do it. My team runs and operates our internal Content Hub, and we truly drink our own champagne by acting as Customer Zero. In a previous post, I shared how we create Branded Experiences with Experience Manager Content Hub and AEM Sites. In this post, I share how we utilized an early access, UI Extensibility feature in Content Hub to enable assets that have restricted licenses, to be requested--thus expanding potential opportunities for asset reuse, which reduces costs and makes better use of our original content creation.  Key Concepts Digital Rights Management: see this DRM post for a great overview of what’s new in DRM UI Extensibility: Content Hub supports UI extensibility (currently in Limited Availability), which enables the addition of custom UI components to the Content Hub UI for specific workflows and bu

Most DAM governance models we inherit are designed for a problem that no longer exists. The closed authoring loop is gone. Content Hub, MCP endpoints, and Brand Experience Agents have opened it, and the governance has not kept up. What is breaking in productionStale rights metadata reaching external partners through Content Hub. AI generated variants with no lineage back to the source. Tags that look right but were produced by an LLM without controlled vocabulary alignment. Distribution portals shipping content past its expiry because nothing on the way out re-reads the policy. What is working for us so farGovernance lives in metadata, not in folder paths. Folder structure is a navigation aid. Rights, lifecycle state, AI provenance, market scope, and approval state are schema fields, queryable and enforceable in workflow.Rights management is a first class object, not a tag. Model release, talent expiry, and market exclusion need their own model with start and end dates, and a workflow

Problem Statement:Would need a mechanism to differentiate and track content processed via machine translation (MT) versus human translation. The primary need is to automatically label and manage content that is machine-translated only (i.e., not reviewed by a human). This labeling should update metadata and file attributes so that both internal teams and end users can easily identify the translation source for any given content.Current LimitationAEM Guides, via the AEM OOTB Translations project, does not provide an event or API to intercept the import of translation summary files. As a result, there is no straightforward way to update labels or metadata during the import process.Expectations:Automated Categorization & Labeling (or Translation Status)A clear mechanism to categorize and label MT-only content at the time of import.Metadata should reflect the translation source (MT vs Human) in a way that is visible and actionableIn short:When the Translation Status is “In sync” there is
