Hi, I am facing an issue while trying to bind reference using AF core component (Adaptive Form text Input). While using the legacy component (Text Box) in Adaptive form, this is the bind refence property.On clicking on bind reference, I could see navigate through XDP structure and associate the correct field. In case of core component, I am not able to navigate and select the right XDP field to associate with text box. Why is the difference and how do we bind the fields form xdp to AF to generate PDF with data from Adaptive form?

Hi, Can we use AF core components to create AF using XDP templates. While creating AF using foundation components, I can see Form template option (to select XDP template) and then create AF where I can see the data source as well. On using AF core template and creating the AF, I don't see Form template option to associate XDP template. Is this option removed from AF core components? Thank you.

Hi,Is it possible to update environment identification icon. Currently for non-prod environments like dev and stage, I see a green button to identify the environment as "dev" or "stage"However, on prod the same environment identification button is not available. Is it possible to add environment identification icon for production and update the button name for stage to a custom name?Thanks! 

Greetings,Since a deployment we made yesterday, js files for our components are appearing minified, we were wondering if we could turn it off.I understand is better for our security, but our project has strict SLAs and we relied heavily on browser overrides for the most common support tickets and basic developments, so we were wondering if turning it off is an option in AEMAACS.Thanks in Advance!Best Regards

Does anybody know when  as in with which kind of activation are files evicted in dispatcher?  At the moment I am not finding a clear pattern. And doesn't seems to be any documentation available.  Please do not refer me to another article in this community because there is no other addressing this properly.  

Hi Team, We have a requirement to poll translated content from the TMS. Could you confirm if AEM provides any default polling mechanism for this, or if we need to implement a custom one? In case a custom polling mechanism or scheduler is required, how can we identify the correct Translation Object to apply the translations to, and how will the process determine which job it should target? Context :- Custom Connector is used- Human translation (Integrated with external vendor which support xml files)- For AEM Guides (DITA files translation) Thanks,Ravi Joshi

i have custom responsive grid and i want to limit that grid to allow a a particular type of component to add only once.i have restricted to allow it one resource type by setting template policy. but how to restrict to add only once?

Reading through older posts it seems like you used to be able to copy and paste a component from one page to another in Sites. I can copy a component but if I go to a different page, it doesn't give me the paste option. It only lets me paste it within the same page.  Is there a way I can copy a component from one page to another?  Thanks!

Hello community,Some time ago I integrated an API to work with the DAM (uploading assets, reading assets, etc.). Today I realized that assets uploaded to the DAM via Postman with an enabled technical account load correctly and appear in AEM. However, if I switch to the Adobe Experience Manager Assets view, none of the assets uploaded via Postman appear there.Several questions:1. Why is this happening? Could it be the account, the configuration, missing attributes, or workflows not running?2. How can I resolve this?3. Is there a way to make the already uploaded assets visible, or is the solution to upload them again? I'm a bit confused because, in theory, what appears in AEM should also appear in AEM Assets. Thank you very much. 

Hi, I have a Content Fragment that contains an image URL field. In my component, I need to allow authors to add multiple Content Fragments, and each fragment includes this image URL field.My question is: on the backend side of my component, how can I extend Dynamic Media functionality so that every image URL behaves like the core/wcm/components/image/v3/image component — including smart crop and image preset support?

Hi, I’ve been trying to create a custom plugin for all the RichText XML configurations in my AEM components, but I haven’t been able to get it working. I’ve followed several guides, but I still can’t make it work. Any help? It would just be a simple select with options and a text field.We’ve added custom fields to components like the link plugin — that was quite easy by modifying only the JS. I want to trigger listener which which further sends email whenever any async job is completed on AEM Cloud.But whatever event I am trying is not hitting the listenerorg/apache/sling/event/notification/job/FINISHED Orcom/adobe/granite/async/job/SUCCEEDED. or I have the 2nd approach where I can check /var/asyncjobs where if any new node creates I can trigger listener but in that node I see no property to differentiate between jobs( like I only want for assetimport or zip unarchive). can someone please help here.

We are currently evaluating migrating our AEM 6.5 implementation to the Cloud Service. However, we’ve encountered a few issues and would appreciate input from organizations that have gone through similar transitions: 1. AMS and Cloud Service - Tech Parity Adobe is recommending AMS, but it means additional operational and development costs.  AMS has not received new features at the same pace as AEM Cloud. If our organization wants to adopt new features, especially at a global scale, AMS would not have tech parity. So, features may not be available for China. Has anyone faced this situation? How did your organization overcome these limitations? 2. Asset Share Commons and Content Hub User Limits Currently, we use Asset Share Commons (ASC) with no user limits. Migrating to Content Hub imposes a 250-user limit, which seems highly restrictive. For those who migrated from ASC to Content Hub, what other challenges did you face besides the user limit? Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well.Context: I'm managing groups and permissions in AEM. Each group has its own access to specific folders in the DAM. The problem I'm currently having is that if a new folder is created, it becomes visible to all users. My question is: is there a way to automate permission assignment? For example, if I create a "promo" folder and it's assigned to specific users, or if I create a folder in a specific location, could I use workflows to specify that the folder is for a specific group? Thanks for your input.

Hi community,I need to retrieve all metadata fields that start with a specific prefix (e.g., nameMetadata_) from all metadata schemas in AEM.Current situation:I'm currently using this endpoint to get fields from a specific schema:{{Instance}}/conf/global/settings/dam/adminui-extension/metadataschema/default.infinity.jsonWith a script, I can process the JSON and filter the metadata fields I need, but this endpoint only points to the default schema. What I've tried:I know I can use:/conf/global/settings/dam/adminui-extension/metadataschema.infinity.jsonThis endpoint returns all schemas, but it requires iterating through each one and querying their fields individually.My question:Is there a more direct endpoint or method that allows me to:Retrieve in a single JSON all metadata fields from all schemas (even those not currently in use)?Or alternatively, is there a way to filter directly by field name (e.g., nameMetadata_*) through a query parameter or selector?Basically, I'm looking to

Hello, I am looking for the documentation in which form submission using external email template is described. I've tried locally using the out of the box template from: /libs/fd/dashboard/templates/email/htmlEmailTemplate.txt and the email that I get is a plain/text not an HTML. A simple example of how the email would look like is:However, if I am using the same template in an workflow > send email step, the HTML renders and the email looks good.What are the technical differences between submit action > send email + external template and submit action > invoke workflow + send email step? Thank you,Ana 

Hello AEM Community,   I have a requirement to customize the filters that show under the admin rail under Forms. I am able to override these by creating a copy of the folder structure from /libs to /apps. But these does not seem to perform a resource merger and instead acts as an override. Is there any recommendation around how I could go about making this update without breaking the inheritance from /libs.         Thanks Narendra
