Is AEM 6.5.0 on-prem compatible on windows server 2022

Hello,

I would like to understand AEM 6.5.0 would continue to run if upgrade the windows server 2019 to 2022 ? What would need to be done before that hosting server upgrade ?

    Note: Do not directly jump from 6.5.0 to 6.524. Kindly plan the upgrade having upgrading intermediate service packs and testing it throughly.

    Hi ​@ErsKar ,

     

    AEM 6.5 is documented as working on Windows Server 2022 with Restricted Support; this is within Adobe’s official matrix.
    Reference: Technical Requirements

    However, Staying on AEM 6.5.0 on a brand‑new OS is not advisable from a security and support perspective.

    It is better to upgrade AEM to a current 6.5 SP or 6.5 LTS and ensure Java is supported.
