Hello, I’m a relatively new user and am trying to understand Marketing Channel Classification. For example, I have a table where I am pulling in Marketing Channels broken down by Marketing Channel Detail and Page Query String for Marketing Channel Instances.Looking for help understanding why campaign 710421 with the same Page Query String is being classified under Paid Social and Other Campaign. Our marketing channel is set to expire in 90 days, Paid Social and Other Campaign are set to Override the Last Touch Channel.Does the table below point to an issue in our Marketing Channel Processing rules?Appreciate any advice in understanding the table below. Marketing Channel Processing rules for Paid Social and Other Campaign: 

I have done a Adobe Analytics tracking setup via DC Launch using the XDM web SDK schema. I have mapped the eVar, props and Events and the setup seems to working fine.  I am also using a Data object specified for the “Adobe Analytics” which sends data directly to Analytics. I am concerned that if this will cause any Data duplicacy in Analytics. Since the AEP datastream we are using for XDM Schema is sending to Adobe Analytics service and the Data object also does. However, the official Documentation seems to be indicating this setup (Although I cant find right now where I read that). I also verified this for some Adobe sites and they also use both the data objects simultaneously so I am not sure if this affects anything or Analytics filters this on its end.   

Hi there!I have a feeling some update happened to report builder in May?Today I tried to perform one of my monthly operations, and noticed that Report Builder wiped out Excel tables instance. Long story short: I pull the data with Report Builder and do some Power Query processing on the next stage. For Power Query to work the easiest way is to refer to table instance, named ranges. Today after the update Power Query broke and I noticed flat data instead of table instance is there. I tried to find corresponding feature in documentation or in setup and failed. Wondering if I can here get some feedback from Dev team why? Anyone except of me is affected by that? For the reference. Before Now 

Recently we came across situation where we found out that adblockers are not blocking assets.adobedtm.com domains as well, impact of this launch scripts which is hosted in akami (adobe managed hosting option), entire ecosystem of AEP is failed on on webchannel.Here the concern was core functionality and value proposition of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Analytics implementations.As you are aware:Adobe positions AEP, Launch (Tags), and related solutions as enabling: First-party data collection Server-side tracking Resilience against ad blockers and privacy restrictions However, in our case:Adobe Launch scripts hosted on Adobe-managed Akamai domains are being blocked by ad blockers When these scripts are blocked: Data collection fails at the source Downstream AEP and Analytics capabilities become ineffective So concern here If the entry point (Launch script) itself is blocked, first-party data collection and server-side tracking become significantly limited in real-world s

Assume that I have multiple Data Views. If I want to switch between them in Workspace then corresponding metrics in Data Views have to have same Component ID? 

I have implemented the Adobe Analytics MCP via oAuth server to server authentication and currently I am able to create connection and maintain sessions for this. However while using the call tools to request and fetch data from any reportSuite I am facing some kind of bug for the tool “findMetrics”.Even after using the “page” & “limit” params I am still getting a large set of data as a response.for e.g. I requested “page”:0 & “limit”:10 but still got returned 86 rows of metrics data, Not sure if this is any issue from server side under which “limit” is not recognized. If anyone else faced this error let me know. For now I have restricted the data by manually slicing the  post my limit.

Is there a way for  Adobe Analytics segment to be published in AEP? If yes, how to achieve that? Any documentation to guide?

We are on a retail 4-5-4 calendar and Adobe WILL NOT fix the monthly automated sends to send by the end of the 4-5-4 calendar. They only send by gregorian calendar, meaning 1st of the month through the end of the month. Its not that they can’t fix it, they WON’T fix it. I’ve been trying to get them to fix it for 3 years now. All they will do is pat me on the head and say there, there. Infuriating.

I'm troubleshooting a Marketing Channels issue in Adobe Analytics.My Paid Search rule is:IF ANY Query String Parameter utm_medium contains cpc Query String Parameter utm_source contains google or bing THEN Paid SearchMy Referral rule is:IF ALL Referring Domain is not empty Tracking Code does not contain cpc or paid social THEN ReferralI'm finding hundreds of First Time Visits classified as Referral where: Referrer = google.com Campaign UTM Medium = cpc Campaign UTM Source = google All of our paid search traffic comes from Google/Bing and uses valid UTM parameters (utm_source=google, utm_medium=cpc).When I break down these Referral visits, most are associated with Google CPC campaigns and paid search landing pages.Given the Paid Search rule above, I would expect these visits to be classified as Paid Search, not Referral.Has anyone seen Google CPC first-time visits fall into Referral despite matching Paid Search criteria?

Hello, When I schedule a macro-enabled Excel file (.xlsm) in the New Report builder, it gets stuck in status “Refresh in Progress”.The same file saved as .xlsx (without macros) run without problems. I suppose this must be a bug, since it’s not documented anywhere that .xlsm files are not supported (which would render the new Report Builder useless for our use case).Any ideas?Best

Hello! I have a question on difference in data for sequential segments vs. stacked segments. I am helping another team attribute conversions for users who have come from natural search and visited then homepage and then completed a conversion. They have two versions of this report, one from their vendor and one from our internal team, and the data is not adding up.Their vendors version of the segment is as follows (this is not the literal segment, just how it is set up with our own specific dimensions):Visits (only after sequence)Page = homepage- AND -Search Engine - Natural exists- THEN Within 1 Page View(s) –A user enters the conversion flow (URL based)They place this segment in a freeform table and place the conversion dimension on top, layered with UV’s The internal team set up their report by stacking segments. Hi all,We’re experiencing an issue in our production environment where iOS orders are not being correctly tracked under the Platform (eVarX) dimension in Adobe Analytics. Instead, the data is falling under Unspecified. However, android traffic is being tracked correctly.Here's our existing setup:We’re using Processing Rules to map platform context data to eVarX. Here's the screenshot for your reference.Despite this configuration, iOS traffic does not get mapped and appears under "Unspecified", while Android works as expected. We do not have a staging environment, so this is directly affecting our production reporting.Has anyone else faced this issue with iOS mapping in processing rules?Are there any debugging best practices you'd recommend to validate the exact context data values received?Appreciate any insights or suggestions.Thank you in advance!  

We’ve set up our Organic Social channel with the following rule: traffic is classified as Organic Social when the query string parameter “umedium” does not exist and the referring domain contains social domains (e.g., fb.com, instagram.com, etc.).Recently, we observed that some traffic from chatgpt.com is being bucketed into the Organic Social channel, even though chatgpt.com is not included in our social domain list. Based on our current rules, this classification seems unexpected.Could this be due to how the referrer is being passed or interpreted, or is there a known behavior that would cause chatgpt.com traffic to fall into Organic Social under these conditions? Any guidance on whether our rules need adjustment—or if this outcome is expected—would be appreciated.

I'm looking for an Adobe Analytics Campaign URL builder (similar to the Google Analytics campaign builders) that will enable me to build my customer’s campaign URL forms easily (preferably from a template), will allow me to design it without any code for their brand, control naming conventions, store my Adobe links built, and help me with insights. I’m inheriting a mess from Adobe analytics and am starting from scratch with either evars or a typical cid url that also follows UTM parameter structures.I came across a public Adobe UTM Builder and have also signed up for a free trial after duplicating the template. I also tried Terminus, Uplifter, Clara vine, and UTM Smart Manager. I’m in the process of building my customer’s governance deployment in each of these platforms but so far I’m liking UTM Smart Manager best for value and pricing. Any other recommendations out there? I am using Adobe Analytics Reporting API, where I have a custom dimension 'Page Name' and 'UserID'. 'Page views' and 'Unique Visitor' are the metrics that we want. Using the API we want a breakdown of every Page Name with the User ID - page views and unique visitors metrics. However, we are unable to get the desired response. Could someone help on this? Thanks.

Hi all, I know this question was raised in past multiple times but - from my perspective - wasn’t fully answered yet. I read through the exisitng posts here in the experience league but am still confused.First: I am aware about the differences between hit and visit segments and that fallout analysis handles dimension items as an visit (or visitor) segments.The question came up, when we comared visit numbers from a freeform table with a fallout analysis:As you can see in the fallout analysis it says 5.734 visits. When I create a visit segment which contains the same URL as the fallout I get the same number when populating a time dimension to it. But now the confusion: when I breakdown the single dimension items and take a look at the exact same dimension item, which is filtered in the visit segment / fallout, I get lower visit numbers? There are no other filters applied in the panel. Any ideas? Thanks you all in advance!Best, Paul

Hello togehter,We see an unusually high volume of traffic with the source set to “None” in an Adobe form. For me It is currently unclear why this traffic is not attributed correctly.   Based on the Marketing Processing Rules, do you see any issues that could cause “None” traffic? How are you all documenting your analytics requirements to pass to developers? We release new features/products on our website and app monthly, and are currently using the same drawn-out and tedious process to request our analytics implementation work that we’ve been using for years. We (the analysts using Adobe Analytics) receive designs of the experience in Figma from Product, screenshot those screen by screen and outline what variables/events need to set on each screen/with each interaction in a PPT, and then a technical specifications document gets created by someone on the more technical side (using trackState, etc.) in a PDF. That document is then passed to IT for development. There has to be a more efficient way. I’d love to hear how all of you are handling this process when you’re pushing multiple analytics implementations across multiple platforms monthly.

Hi everyone,I’m currently trying to test the Adobe Analytics MCP.So far, I have:been granted the required permissions (MCP Access + Developer Access) created a project in the Adobe Developer Console generated API credentials/keys as part of the setupAfter adding the MCP server in Cursor, I’m able to authenticate successfully. Hello everyone,We are implementing Adobe Reporting API 2.0, since version 1.4 will be deprecated in August 2026. During implementation, we encountered a limitation in the API design that affects our use case.In Reporting API 2.0, data retrieval is based on dimensions (descriptive attributes such as customer ID, date, page) and metrics (calculated measures such as pageviews and visits). The API always returns aggregated results based on the dimensions provided.Our requirement is to ingest historical data at the lowest possible granularity (near event-level) and/or perform daily loads. To achieve this, we would need to include multiple dimensions (e.g., date, customer ID, page). However, the API processes breakdowns by sending separate requests for each combination of dimensions if we want all dimensions and metrics in a single table.Example: 50 days 30 customers 10 pages This would result in 50 × 30 × 10 = 15,000 API requests.Given this structure, the API appears not scalable for hi
