Scheduled run fails in New Report Builder

Hello, 

When I schedule a macro-enabled Excel file (.xlsm) in the New Report builder, it gets stuck in status “Refresh in Progress”.

The same file saved as .xlsx (without macros) run without problems. 

I suppose this must be a bug, since it’s not documented anywhere that .xlsm files are not supported (which would render the new Report Builder useless for our use case).

Any ideas?

I had this issue happen this week… on a Report that has been running fine for months. I opened a ticket about it… but didn’t connect that this was the one report that was saved as .xlsm.. but that might be the factor.

 

I will add this detail to my ticket, but you should also log a ticket… this was never a problem until this week, and logically, macro-enabled shouldn’t have issues.

Oh, you are right ​@ktrs my ticket was closed when it was passed off to the engineering team, and I didn't see any update… but yes, I checked and the report is sending again 😊
