Hello, I am trying to create a Marketing Channel Group derived field in Customer Journey Analytics that uses a combination of Source, Medium, and Campaign Name in the Case When logic to identify channels. Some channels are also using Referring URL in the logic.  Source, Medium and Campaign have session persistence set up; however when validating the derived marketing channel group field, the session persistence is not working as expected on the Marketing Channel Group. For example: A single session will have multiple marketing channel groups even though there is one source/medium which we expect would be grouped under one marketing channel group.Note: Marketing Channel Group is set up with session persistence   Detailed example:Marketing Channel Group Logic: IF source/medium contains any term "cpc" or source/medium contains any term "sem" THEN "Paid Search"  ElseIF source/medium is not set and Referring URL starts with [our site's domain] THEN "Direct - Interna

I get this error message when I try to Get Date for Adobe Analytics using Beta 2.0.  Worked perfectly fine before today. The field 'allowedForReporting' of the record not found. I'm not sure if there's anything to do to fix with my report suite. I have other report suites that don't show that error.

Hi Community! I'm hoping to create a calculated metric in adobe for 'average active days per user in a week/ month'. eg: If I was active (visited) on Mon and Wed this week, my number would be 2 for the week in question. In summary,  the days in a week or month on average that an app used.  Do you think this is possible?  Thank you!Sonia  

Hi, I'm going crazy trying to figure out why Adobe Analytics is generating varying Revenue totals for different Attribution models. When I build a simple table using Marketing Channel as the dimension and Revenue as the metric, there's no issue when choosing a different model (our default Attribution is Last Touch btw):  However, when I add a value from a product-related dimension (the "true" value in the table below comes from the s.products variable), the Revenue totals for each Attribution model are way off:  I completely understand why the revenue totals for each individual marketing channel would vary for each Attribution model, but I can't wrap my head around why the overall total changes when adding a product dimension. This issue persists no matter what sales metric I use: orders, units, etc. Help!

Hi there!I feel extremely confused questioning the documentation, but can somebody explain why 1m 40 sec is not taken into consideration for site section calculation?Next piece of question relates to why I was reading this part of article again and again: we had built following tableSo, I'm struggling to explain why in this case average time spent on Site for the segment is 106 and for Pages dimension is 141?I imagine that to get lower number there should be more unbroken sequences of pages with /library/stories, right? But how it can be, that there are more unbroken sequences of the segment, than unbroken sequences of the pages it contains? Thank you in advance.

I'm asked to reconnect/login to Adobe every time I open an existing report builder generated excel report. Other team members don't seem to have to do this. Does anybody know how I can prevent this happening or what might be causing the issue?

Hi Team,Last_Purchase_Number is a auto generated metric based on customer order frequency. And Implementation guy has no control over it.  However, for the first we are seeing   Last_Purchase_Number  is paasing "String" value due to which our data processing system is broken. Is anybody faced this situation? any help will be greatly appreciated. Note: in the screen shot, "abcdefg" is the masked data, however it's a string value got passed. 

Has anyone created a calculated metric to get the weighted average of visit number? It's something I use often when examining customer journey, and I often extract the data to Excel. I'm wondering if it can be done in Workspace to save time.

Hi All,When we are taking occurrences as metrics. we are getting "unspecified" value in report. but when we applied as "instances" as metrics we can't see "unspecified" value in report.what could be the reason? is it because the evar is expiring on visits and the evar value is persisting on post pages after the hit?evar97 setting :launch configuration 

Hi,  I am trying to find a way to see who visited a page within a segment (group of page)ex: a product page on a siteThen also visited another page of the same segment/groupex: then an article page about said product I created the segment (ex: page A,B,C,D) and I can easily see if someone visited any one of these pages once.But upon using the "then" function for the same group, I do not know which of the 4 pages were visited and therefore if I use the same group, it is an automatic 100% visited because the same page could be counted twice.I know it is a basic problem, but I do not know how to use a form of "page count" properly.

Hello-Is there a way to create a new version of Time Spent on Page - Bucketed that has different buckets?  Possibly with Classification Rule Builder?  Thanks. Colleen

Hi all, So when I try to make a segment for when in our visit a certain line of business has their visit they receive the Old Homepage experience. We have an impression call firing when New Homepage experience is served.So I made a Visit level segment to look at visits that had my LOB and did not include a Hit for New Home. But that doesn't work as I still see visits with l2 = new home attributing to that segment. If I change the segment so that it is excluding new home on a visit level it works. But I don't understand why the Hit level exclusion isn't working but the visit is. Shouldn't the Visit segment with the hit exclusion exclude any visit in which that Hit is present? Thanks!

I'm using a workspace that I didn't set up and it features almost 200 dimensions populated as a result of classification. I want to understand how these dimensions are being classified and have run through those that are being classified via the rule builder. That still leaves many unaccounted for. Is there a way to verify which dimensions are being populated via manual or FTP import, or is it simply a case of assuming that any that aren't classified by rule builder MUST be classified via import. I ideally want to see which are manual import and which are FTP import.

I was looking at the new Classification Sets feature, which seems to replace the legacy Classification Importer feature, though the latter is still live.  All the SAINT files I have loaded over the past 10 years are .txt files.  I looked at the documentation and it shows them as supported in Classification Sets (I'm classifying page name in this case) But when I went to upload my file in the new Classification Sets UI it says .txt files are not supported.  Any reason?  Is this a bug? 

Hey guys, I am facing a challenge where the client has employed Didomi as cookie consent solution that uses the IAB framework.My current setup is involving Didomi cookie consent banner with IABLaunch with rules for core components Analytics page view and click trackingVisitor ID Service, configuration isMy problems/questions are now:even without additional consent checks, the analytics requests are not firing neither directly after giving consent nor on reloadthe Didomi documentation says to add direct call triggers to the page view rule in combination with a condition, checking for their specific custom consents(don't get me started about the generated AEM core component tracking approach Adobe has chosen, so I will omit my rant here)so, with the direct call and consent condition now met, the Adobe Analytics call is not sent (a debug statement in the code is executed though)in other words, the consent handling through the Visitor ID service is not releasing the callis there

Hello.I am trying to find out the column that identifies the mobile device type (other/mobile phone/tablet etc.) in the Adobe clickstream feed. Basically, looking to the column that would be equivalent to the mobile device type report on the front-end.Thanks for any pointers.Sanjay

I have a question on the datalayer as our site has two datalayers (dataLayer and _CfDataLayer). When we set up the Google Data Layer extension, we set the data layer name to be _cfDataLayer as our most up-to-date data push, while we clean up the default dataLayer at the moment. However,despite the configuration in Adobe Data Collection to use updates made to _cfDataLayer, Adobe Data Collection seems to pick up the old default dataLayer and respond to updates made to it as opposed to _cfDataLayer. Is there anyway that we can configure this to pick up the designated datalayer name?

I get my output in the freeform and it says 15 clicks, I then want to see the time on site for users who met the criteria of 15 clicks on average. I thought I could create a segment for that group with that value but I'm not having any luck. Am I trying to do something that simply isn't possible to do in Adobe Workspace? Seems like that was the case years ago (based on the post), but is that still the case? Any suggested workarounds? Thanks!
