Hey there,I just tried to set up a segment for direct traffic.In definition part, Marketing Channel does know neither "direct" nor "none", although I can see "none" as a dimension in my reports when I use Marketing Channels as a filter.There a no suggestions for any channels in the dropdown, and when I fill in e.g. "Direct" or "None" it does get a red border. (See Screenshot)Visitor, Visits and hits get to the same result Some more information that could be helpful:- So far this page has only direct traffic (it's a test page)- In 90 days - there are only 730 Page Views. I know, my test doesn't really make sense. I try to get more into Adobe Analytics and wanted to test this. So maybe it's not possible to create this segment, because I have only direct traffic - but nevertheless, it would be good to know the reason. THX!Amelie

Our team does A/B testing rigorously. I am from reporting side and for the initial reporting for every A/B test, we have a adobe dashboard explaining the results with KPIs like impressions, clicks, CTR, lift and few down stream metrics for each version. Typically, we have 2-4 versions for very test - one control and 3 variants. I want to add statistical significance in each dashboard. I have calculated it using the below logic. Imagine a test with only 2 recipes - 1 control and 1 variantCTR 1 = clicks1/impressions1CTR2 = clicks 2/impressions 2Pooled CTR = (clicks 1+clicks 2)/(impressions 1+impressions 2)Standard Error (SE) = Square root(Pooled CTR*(1-Pooled CTR)*((1/Imp1)+(1/Imp2)))Z Score = abs(CTR1-CTR2)/SEStandard significance = cdf-z function (Z score) I create every calculated metric separately and finally calculate the standard significance. We have a nav menu that has banners on the category flyouts. I'm trying to setup a rule in Data Collection to report these page event views to Analytics. I have a data element for these menu banners of core. Constant and the constant value is %event.element.innerText%I have an action that says "When it hovers" after a 3,000millisecond delay, for elelments matching a.sub-menu-link... then set the value of the constant to an evar. The problem that I have is... It will trigger when you hover the menu, except it only will report the very first "inner text" in the menu and not the menu item that is hovered over. I'm curious if anyone has suggestions on how to adjust this. Hi,  In the past with AppMeasuremnt and ID Service, we can config this overwriteCrossDomainMCIDAndAID option to support app-to-web visitor persistence. But it seems this option is no linger in Web SDK?  Or in Web SDK, the adobe_mc value from the app always overwrite the cookie in the web?  Thanks, John

Hi I have 3 exams scheduled at the end of this month. Adobe has upgraded the whole certifications user interface. Launched a new adobe certification portal. As a result, I do not see any exam scheduled in my account. I am on a business travel and need to reschedule. But nothing is showing up inside my account. Need help. Tried contacting support but they mentioned to look for it inside My Account > Certifications. But nothing showing up there. Neither I can sit for the exam nor can reschedule. Hi All, We have a system where we look at the Raw Full URL of the page, then the Operating System, then the IP Address in Adobe Analytics to identify bot traffic. We are getting a full URL with "?test=1" in the query string parameter that seems to be bot traffic. Are there other ways or query strings in the full raw URL that would indicate Bot Traffic too? Thanks!

I have created segments to identify my products in the rows of a freeform table like below. Hit level Segment Name: Shoes (evar 1 = Shoes)Hit level Segment Name: Garments (evar 1 = Garments)Hit level Segment Name: Furniture (evar 1 = Furniture) I measure the number of clicks for these above segments using event 3. Can I put a segment on top of event 3 in the column and increase the number of hits along with the segments in the rows? For example, I want to include another criteria of evar 2 = socks. I understand that I can put a "OR" condition in all of the existing segments. Looking for a solution to add a segment through column. Is there a way to do this in Adobe?

Hi, our team gets a lot of questions regarding the time spent on site OOTB Adobe metrics and which one to use for which circumstance. Can someone help explain the differences between them? The Adobe article is not very helpful. Which metric would I use in the following circumstances?What is the total time spent on average at a sitewide level?What is the total time spent on average on Page A?What is the total time spent on average for segment #1 All Visits (OOTB adobe) vs. visits that make a purchase? (segment = VISIT container, Orders exists).If we could understand which time on site metrics to use where, that would help us a lot in improving our website and conversion rate. Thanks-

We have different products on our site like Shoes, Garments, Furniture etc. I have created 3 segments to identify these products. I have an event which gets triggered every time a user clicks on these products (Event 3). We have identified a revenue unit associated to each of these clicks. For example -  Shoes - 1.23 per clickGarments - 0.83 per clickFurniture - 0.98 per click So in a day if there are 200 clicks for shoes, 100 clicks for Garments & 100 clicks for Furniture, Total revenue for that day would be (Clicks * revenue per click). Shoes = 1.23 * 200 = 246Garments = 0.83*100 = 83Furniture = 0.98*100 = 98 My client wants to see this calculation done on a single column in the freeform table in the below template in adobe workspace.                   Total RevenueShoes                 246Garments             83Furniture&

Hi all, I have a freeform table with percentages. Adobe Analytics shows an average of 14%. However, if I save all the figures in Excel and calculate the average there, I only get 12%. In the table, I use month as a dimension on one side and the number of users who must have performed certain actions on our site (e.g. watched a video at least once or read an article to the end at least once) on the other side. Why is there a difference of 2% between the value I calculated and the value from Adobe?Thanks,Sophie

Hi, I am trying to create a visualization where I want to know where users are going between an entry and conversion. Flow visualization allows me to set either start or end point.  Is there a way to create such visualization to know user footprint.   Thanks!

My understanding is that Occurrences are used because the Next Page report measures how many times a particular page is viewed after the anchor page. Is it possible to replace Occurrences with Visits? Would this adjustment show me how many visits the next page receives specifically after users arrive on the landing page? I've also tried using a Flow chart, but it uses Path Views as the metric. For example, I have over 1 million visits to the landing page, but the flow chart only shows 100k Path Views. Interestingly, the next step count in the Flow chart aligns closely with the Next Page report.Any advice or tips would be greatly

I have a question regarding our recent transition from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics. As we are no longer using Adobe Analytics, I’ve been using the debugger to check the tags being fired in Customer Journey Analytics. However, I noticed that I cannot see any information being captured, such as campaign data or UTM parameters.Has anyone else experienced this issue or can offer guidance on resolving it? I would appreciate any insights into ensuring that campaign tracking and UTM parameters are properly captured in Customer Journey Analytics. Hi I'm trying to run a request via the datawarehouse endpoint https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/endpoints/data-warehouse/#post-scheduled-request However I'm getting an error: It is expected that reportPeriod should be provided with this schedule. There is nothing in the documentation that gives me examples of what the report period should look like.  I have this set in the request reportRange: { preset:"Last 7 days" }, Can someone provide me documentation around what the reportPeriod needs to be set to?

I am working on answering a question about our search results page and I am hoping that there is a calculated metric that can be built to solve this. I have created a metric that can be used to gauge our search relevancy, that is structured as cart additions on our SRP divided by total searches. However, I'd also like to create a binary metric that will return 1 if an user adds to cart from the SRP, and 0 if an user does not add to cart on the SRP.Is this achievable in the calculated metric builder? Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated!
