Using Teams for Greater Access

Hi When we first came onto Workfront about 2 years ago someone here suggested that I create a Team of a group of my Workers who need to have the highest level of access so they can modify tasks, upload proofs and versions etc. It's been working great. However, I want to make another team to have similar access but I have absolutely no recollection of what I did with that Team to get them this higher level access, and I can't find the discussion. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? How do I give a Team special access to all projects? I've looked in the templates, Team Setup, User Setup, and I can't seem to figure out what happened. Thanks for anybody who can help me scooby doo into this mystery. Jill Ackerman

I would think it would be a combination of the project sharing options and potentially an access level you assigned to the team. -skye

Thanks, Skye, that's what I think but I can't find any place in any project or a portfolio where you can assign different access to a team. The team is not assigned any tasks on any projects. In the Team setup there is no way to assign them any special access, the setup screen is very limited. I feel I am missing looking at some place somewhere else that provides access levels, but I can't find it. I found it! Pshew, thank you @Alejandro, Vic from Feb 2018. I have to share with the team. Skye, you said this, but I didn't understand. Ahhh, ok. I have a solution for you! There are two ways to accomplish this. In the Edit Project settings you have that Access section where you can set up anyone assigned to a Task has Manage access. Then when you assign a person they get those rights and will have access to change the Planned Completion Dates on their Tasks. But that won't allow them to change other people's tasks in the plan. So option 2, which I suspect is more what you're looking for. Set them up in a WF Team (or use a team they're already in). Perhaps you create a team of all the people that manage deadlines. Then in the projects under Sharing you can give the team Manage access to the project. This will allow them to make date edits etc. It works. I just re-tested it to make sure.
