Hi All,
We are trying to pull the data from Issue level custom form at project level but we are unable to do that. Can someone please help us with any calculated field syntax which can be used for pulling such kind of data?

Can you explain a little more about the connection of the objects?
Was the issue converted to this project and, therefore, tied together as resolvable objects? Or are the issues inside the project?

Hello @KellieGardner ,
Scenario here is initially we will raise an issue from our tool and then once the issue is created, we will convert that issue to Project via Template so on template we have project form attach. So, once the issue is converted to project, we need some fields to get directly populate the data from Issue level form.

Okay, I believe you are saying you want to have the issue custom form data populated onto the custom form of the project when you are converting.
To do this, the fields need to be on the project form in addition to the issue form—then the system will know to map the fields. You have to use the same fields for it to map them, so either use the same form or make sure the fields are aligned.
This video shows you how the fields will map if you use the same forms.

Hi,
This isn't possible to do via a calculated field. An issue is classed as a collection at the project level (since a project can have multiple issues). There is no way for a calculated field to establish which issue to pull the data from.
The only way to carry data from an issue to the project level is by converting the issue into a project (you can read more on this here), or using a custom solution such as Workfront Fusion.
Best Regards,
Rich.

If you converting the same issue to a project:
1. The Custom form should be of both Project & Issue object type.
2. The template that you are going to use for project conversion should have this custom form attached.
3. If the data is filled in the Issue/Request level, it will be visible automatically on the project details page after converting it into project.
