We have a Fusion solution where folks submit a request from a specific queue and it automatically goes to their listed supervisor. When it is approved, it markes the days in their calendar as time off and subtracts their alloted time from a set of custom fields in their user form. Marking it off on their calendar forces it to show in the Balancer.Screenshot 2023-06-15 at 9.46.17 am.jpg

Hi there! If you're utilizing the Workload Balancer, you'll definitely want people to fill in their Time Off from their profile so you can see when their time off aligns (or doesn't) with work assigned to them. There is no approval flow associated with this time off. I've always trained people to of course go through your company or team's protocol of getting time off approved before entering from their profile. If you're wanting to work in an approval in WF, you could set up a request queue that routes to appropriate people for users to submit time off requests...but when approved they'd still need to add it from their own profile in the Time Off section.

Thanks for the post, we're heading in the direction you referred to. Probably going to include Fusion like the post from Randy Roberts describes.

Wait, there's more!

This one adjusts in the event the requested time needs to be changed.
