SSO and User Creation Notification

Hi everyone, For those of you who have single sign on enabled, what is your best practice for notifying users they have been created within Workfront. Do you send a message to the created user? or do you rely on the requestor for creating the user to relay the message? Before we had SSO, when user was created the system used to send a message directly to the newly created user, now with SSO it seems that went away. I have a help desk request open, but wanted to find out what process do you follow. Thanks in advance. Nuria Munguia, PMP® VP Business Process Manager II, Workfront System Administrator TD Bank

Nuria, in our case the governance charter we created designates a group admin for each department utilizing Workfront. That group admin is responsible for the notification and onboarding of the new user in Workfront, so that the department/bank's best practices are conveyed while learning Workfront at the same time. Hope that helps.

Thank you, appreciate your response. What we ended up doing is that the group responsible for onboarding users across our different business units, would tag the new user in the request to create him as a user and provide the onboarding information then.
