Is there anyway to ensure a specific viewing filter (the eyeball one) can used for one specific project task list?
I have set the tasks up as a FAQs and is open to everyone in the company to view - but it will only work if the viewing filter is set to the one I have created.
Thank you!

In short, no there is not. Workfront will remember the last view the user used and try to use that first.
However, you can always create a task report that shows the tasks in the target project and use the desired view as a default.
TIP: if this solved your problem, I invite you to consider marking it as a Correct Answer to help others who might also find it of use.

Hi @AbelleWoo - You can default a specific view on project task lists through a layout template. On the layout template, go to Lists > Tasks and then add the View and Set as Default. Hope this helps!
That would apply to every project, not just the specific project the OP is referring to.

I do the same sometimes! I start reading and think "I know the answer to that!!" and start typing before finishing the details.
