Hello Denver, I know that a lot of you were looking to get some help on recourse planning and scheduling. A few of you commented here in the group, but there were a lot more of you than I realized before I went to the User Group last week. I wanted to reach out and thank those of you that attended yesterday's webinar. I hope that it was valuable for you and answered your questions. I know it was great for Michael Swan and Jeremy Flores to have the chance to help out customers and get live feedback! I have attached the recording of the webinar here for those that missed it. I pressed 'record' when the meeting started, but I didn't see that I needed to confirm that until a couple minutes in, so I apologize for that. All that is missing is Jeremy introducing himself as a Manager in Training Strategy and talking about his experience in consulting. Michael Swan introduced himself as a Product Manager over Resource Scheduling and Planning. Jeremy then began talking about the agenda and the demo he was going to share. That's when the recording actually starts, so we didn't miss much, but it does start mid-sentence. I am glad that I was able to put this together for this group. However, we are not able to do exclusive User Group webinars regularly, so I would ask that you do not share the recording with customers outside of this group. My team will be turning this webinar into a blog post and utilizing the demo for the larger community, so be on the lookout for that so you can share it with contacts outside of Denver. Thanks for putting this together, Alison. It was helpful to see it in action. After the Video, my scrum master and I reviewed some topics and ideas. I know there was some chatter about another more indepth one based on some topics generated from this video. Our initial thoughts: In the people page, It's hard to know what's in the Iteration and whats in the back log when you have the team assign to the task. Let me explain this a bit more. Because we work in an agile environment, we don't manage the task dates. They fall where they do and manage the project end date. The task dates manage themselves based on when we put them in an iteration. Is this a filter on the Working on Page to include the iteration element? It may also be helpful to configure or toggle the colors as to the status each task is in. That would help for those teams that have high task volume. I'll keep collecting these and add them in the Idea place once we work through them more. Again, thanks for the demo! Brady Robinder Comcast West Division XOC
