Request Due Date Default within an Iteration within a Project

Is there a way to stop a Request due date from automatically populating to align with the Project Planned Completion date? I've only seen this happen to Requests assigned to an Iteration (and the iteration is not schedule to be complete on the same date as the Project). Thank you in advance!

Your project where the issues go is probably set to Completion mode. Do you have the issue planned completion/due date field in your request form? This would prompt the requester to put in (desired) due date to populate it instead of going to a default incorrect date. You could always change the due date from there as needed...
