Reduce user amount of work hours

We have several students who work for us, and they don't work a full 40 hours a week. Their schedules vary from student to student. Is there a way for us to give them each a specific number of hours? For example, can we update their profile to reflect them working 12 hours a week? This would help with our project planning and resource allocation. Thanks! Kenny George

Sure thing. It's easy. Create a new schedule that shows their available work hours and then assign that schedule to them. That's how we do it! Thanks, Eric

As per Lucas's post, but you might also want to edit their FTE number. Assuming '1' FTE = 40 hours per week, someone working 12 hours per week would be 0.3. This helps if you're using resource pools and the resource budget manager to ensure everything stacks up. Barry Buchanan Work Management Australia
