Looking to 2018

Hey everyone! Here's to a great 2018, hope you all enjoyed your holidays. A couple of things I'd like to throw out to the group: 1 - What would you all think of a "user" group that was non-admin focused? I have had a couple of super users come to the local meetings that will not be group admins, or take on administrative roles, however they can be huge advocates and help others adopt to the system. Would you find value in having something twice a year specifically focused on your super users/fast adopters? 2 - Who is hosting our next local session? Have we picked a date yet? (Suggestions for March?) 3 - LEAP is coming the first week of May, who is attending? Do you want to plan a dinner or something informal that week for our user group? Thanks! Hey Connie, Hope you had a great holiday season as well! A couple thoughts from our end. 1 - Re: Non-Admin Group; At our company, We have a really wide array of usage styles. Some groups minimally engage the system, and others try to run everything through it. I'm not sure our Admin team necessarily knows all of the variety of use cases, to be honest... and we generally feel this is OK as long as we make admins available to break down barriers as needed. That said, I think we would need a bit more of an idea about what the gathering would be about, and then a bit of research throughout our own groups to really know who may benefit. Do you have any ideas about the approach or general topic ideas? 2 - Re: Hosting; Not sure. Unfortunately, our new facility, which will have a new space with enough room, will not be ready until approx Oct 2018. 3 - Re: Leap; I am planning on going and will probably buy the ticket this week. I will likely be the only attendee from Banner Engineering. Reminder for others. Early Bird rates end Feb 15th. Thanks, Matt Matt Marks Banner Engineering Corp.

Hi all! I'm not sure there would be much interest in a non-admin group here at Tennant. We have a pretty small group of core users (planners), where I would guess any interest would come from, but most people are just requesting projects and that's enough for them to deal with regarding Workfront. Like Matt said, I think I'd need to know more about it before I could answer for sure. Tony and I will be at Leap! We'll likely book our tickets in the next few weeks. Depending on when my flight gets in, I'd be open to meeting up, or just getting the group together and one of the LEAP events like the party on Monday night. Lastly, we could potentially host in March. We're in Golden Valley, right off of 100 and 55. Connie, I'm going to send you an email with a few logistics questions that I have, and then I could confirm for sure that we can host, and it can be decided if our location is convenient enough for everyone. Malisa, Response sent! User group: I think because we are still new to Workfront, most of the interest is really just in understanding all the functionality they have available to them. Because I don't have any additional support, I don't have much time to do any "spot/feature" training like I first did when we were launching. Even as those who only route projects, "short cuts" on assigning tasks or other day to day user "tips/tricks" are golden to all my users. Connie Connie Sutherland BSC
