Large thumbnail report column doesn't always show asset

We use Workfront as an asset approval platform. The Large Thumbnail column we have included in our report for reviewing assets does not always display the file. Is this feature limited to file type or file size?

Thumbnails don't appear for certain file types like PDF, PPT, Excel. Types like PNG, JPG do. I wish it would show for all. Is this consistent with where you're not seeing thumbnails? If you're not seeing them for image file types, I'd ask Support.
