Is there a way to adjust Workload Balancer so the workweek begins on Monday?

Having the workweek begin on Sunday doesn't work and makes it more difficult to manage resources.

Hi Rick,

I checked and today this is not possible, unfortunately. So, if this is something that would benefit your team, maybe think about submitting it to the Innovation Lab.

Thanks,

Kyna

Thanks Kyna.

As suggested, I've submitted this to the Innovation Lab.

Seriously? That is not very useful for all European customers :-(

It's probably great for Israeli folks!

It's just about having the ability to modify the workweek according to what works best for one's own team.

Hi Rick,

If you update your browser language settings this will make Monday first day of the week in WB.

Eg, for Chrome-

Hope that helps,

Cheers,

Jess.

Our language is set to English UK< but this creates a mismatch between the Workload balancer and the Planner in the resourcing section.  The planner is using Sunday to Saturday dates e.g. Feb 11 to 17 whilst the balancer is using Monday to Sunday dates e.g. Feb 12 to 18.  You will also notice this is creating a mismatch on the week numbering.  The dates used not matching is bad enough, but the resultant mismatch of week numbers seems to be a significant bug caused by the different week start days.

Having the setting based on the browser seems like a very bad idea as they should be locked to the user or group.  As an international organisation, we have users who would like to use their browser in their own language but prefer to use WF in English and vice versa.  Additionally, as we have users all over the world, different people are seeing different versions of the planner, some see Mon-Sun and some see Sun-Sat depending on their geographic settings in the browser.

Therefore, the most logical solution would be to allow the group settings to include the weekday pattern and for this to roll out to all users in the group.

Actually, having experimented, the mismatch happens with Englidh UK and English US set as the default language in the browser.
