I think it has always been set up this way. When I created a 10 question risk score card a few years ago, it set up my questions and gave 3-5 single choice answers with a score 1-3 or 1-5 points as a rating scale. I put the formula in a separate field and then wrote the formula to look at the answer fields to award points given for each answer. We also had weighted multipliers for each question. In this way the formula is not mixed with the question. BTW, our "questions" could not use punctuation as it ruined the formula. So the were really statements that the user would award 1-3 or 1-5 points to the "answer" that best fit their project. See the two attachments. Chris Mueller HLUS: Holdings
