Exporting Shared Column Reports - Excel

Avatar

Community Advisor

We love to use shared columns in our reports but need to be able to take the same format and export it into Excel. Has anyone been able to successfully export a report with shared columns into Excel or found any workarounds? Thank you in advance.

I've found the same experience, unfortunately. I think even if you are sharing columns in WF, they are still technically separate fields so therefore export as separate columns. Looks like there's an idea for this that I just upvoted, it could use some votes!

this may be too fiddly but have you considered saving as a PDF and then converting the PDF to an excel? Otherwise, I would ping Doug Den Hoed.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it out and could not get it to work as I would have hoped for unfortunately.
