Hello,
I would like to find a way to send out email reminders to update their project to designated groups, preferably one to me/my team and the one person/team that is currently assigned and working on the project.
I would like to have this email be sent out 2 weeks before the expected due date on the project is.
I was currently investigating and looking around to see if this is possible but failed in my research.
Is this kind of process a possibility on workfront?

This isn't possible using native Workfront functionality. You would need Workfront Fusion to build a custom automation to achieve this.

Have you considered setting up a project reminder notification? You can create your email template first with the messaging you want, and then attach that to the project reminder, and then attach that reminder to your template/project settings. You can send it 2 weeks before the project's planned completion date to the project owner and/or project team. More on reminder notifications here. It may not fit all your wants but definitely something to explore.
